    Each group will have a Lead, a photographer, a poser, etc. total 6 in a group. If it exceeds more than 6, we'll divide it into 3 groups.

    Here is the Tentative classification for Leh Teerth 2010

    Group 1 (Moderate Riders):
    Beruoist
    Inder.cool
    Bibekjyoti.de
    Satyenpoojary
    Motorbreath
    Rachitkohli (group Lead)

    Group 2 (Rippers):
    Darkknight
    Spiderweb
    Razorblades (group Lead)
    Ketan_r15
    Dineshsamtani
    Vishwas

    Hydbiker : Will meet us in Delhi & Can join any group he is comfortable with...

    If anyone is uncomfortable with this, we can sort it out in a Pre-Leh g2g.

            Me n Inder were discussing over PMs how to divide the groups & we came-up with this. Its tentative & I made it just for a starter, a spark to ignite the big fire

            Just drop in for the 1st PRE_LEH g2g, be there with Inder

            P.S: With Motor, DK & Me around, you'll hardly get any limelight

              Ohh and pls. dont take any more confirmations into this ride..as already more(than expected) no. of ppl are already confirmed..!!

                One of my friend will be coming too, he is an old xbhpian. But am putting him in tentative for now.

                You can ride down on Sat, attend g2g, stay here for the night (another midnight g2g) & go back on sunday
                or
                better you come for the final Pre-Leh g2g...

                        A few of us had discussed about your presence in the ride, but since you havnt done any big/long ride yet, we dint exactly considered you for this Mega Ride. But if you do a 1000+ kms ride with any one of us before that, we can rethink. Its all in the favour of everyones safety, I hope you'll understand

                        For our last ride to Goa, thats just 600 kms (in a day, 10-12 hrs max), we had to chuck out DevilJin even though he had done a few small rides with us. The decision was good for him as well as for us.

                        My suggestion would be, come with us next year. Till then prepare yourself & get more experience with some good touring & long rides, with us only

                          dats okay.. I understand.. but I guess I cannot backout now.. I'm all geared up and definitely going der this year.. either in a group or solo..

                            Well, I didn't check the whole plan but the distance between Rohtang & Darcha is about 150 KMs. Not 66.

                            Even the distance between Darcha & Pang is about 150 KMs.

                            BTW, aren't you planning Marsimik La?

                            And then, do you reall think you can/want to do Zanskar Valley and back to Kargil in one day?

                              Rachit n gang too did a 21 day Leh tour...
                              According to Google Maps, the distance I quoted are right & I hope so they are.
                              This plan is still tentative, it'll be a lil different in the end.

                                Marsimik La is the highest motorable road. Very tough terrain. No road. Only path made on boulders... very very close to the China border. Near to Pangang Tso.

                                You are covering about 1400-1500 KMs in first 3 days. You need great stamina to go to a SC after the ride without a little rest. Generally SC's don't take in bikes for servicing from noon.
