    R15 V1 - Front Tyre

    Hello xBhpians

Thanks Admin for approving my user

    My First Post

I've been on the lookout for Yamaha R15 V1 Front tyre for quite some time now.
The default front tyre, 80/90 - 17 MRF Zapper, is nowhere to be found :-/

I've searched far and wide for this - Bengaluru JC Road, Hosur Road, Kerala, and even few MRF dealers.
None of the stores had any tyre of this size. Also, MRF dealers mentioned that MRF have stopped producing tyres of this size.

This was the case when I had to replace my rear tyre as well.

Planning for a trip to Goa soon. Need to get it replaced the front tyre before that.

Can anyone please point me in the direction for getting the above mentioned size tyre, preferably in Bengaluru

Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

I need 120 and 160 dual sport 17 inch tyres. What are my choices? Vee rubber Delhi is non responsive though they stock these tyre sizes internationally. They would probably be my first choice.

This is for a versys 650.

I am using Vee rubber off road tyre for rear.

Buy the Michelin pilot 120f and 150r i am using for my Duke 200 and they offer good grip

    PM me if you need.

But the life would be again 10-11k hardly for my kind of riding.

My friends are using Michelin Street Pilot 2. 140 and 150 size tyres. They are claiming the life to be 20-21k easily. Though the grip is not like Metzeler's and we all know we have to compromise something.
I'm not doing track, I'm just riding it on streets & touring.

So where in Delhi can I find Michelin tyre for some discounted price ?

please suggest some good puncture repair kit along with link.
the tubeless tire puncture repair kit costs around 100rs (i.e. the two tools, reamer and the strip inserter along with 5 strips )
you can check at your local two wheeler spares shop.. online prices are a bit high. also get a tube of that glue that puncture guys use.
as for the tire inflator, you could go in for one of the mechanical ones(foot operated) or if you want a electic one, then get the 'resqtech' tire inflator ResQTech Micro Tyre Inflator ( RSQ-AC101 )
I use the resqtech and its tiny and works just fine. Each have their pros and cons, so decide accordingly.

    Hi Guys,

I wanted to know what's your feedback on Pirelli Sport Dragon tyres. I have not heard much about them but they are Radial Tyre and harder compound then Diablo Rosso 2.

I wanted to know if they are good tyres which have very good grip during rains or should I opt for Michelin Pilot Street or Diablo Rosso 2 for my Honda CBR 250R.

Kindly let me know asap as I need to change my bike's conti go tyres.

    Regards,
    Kailash

    Buy from eBay.

Anything under 200-220 with 5 puncture strips is a good price 300-400 is uselessly overpriced.

Also, learn to apply puncture. Get a silicon solution tube also from local cycle puncture repair shop!
    (5-10₹)

oh.. But did u check the image they had used such big nails for representation? Any way my point was to avoid the max punctures that i could if i use the protection. My only concern is if it would affect the road grip because of any temperature issues. Its costing nearly 2k for installation.
