Also is tubeless option is available as the RE does not come with tubeless tyres.

AFAIK, tubeless tyres work only on alloy rims and not on spoke ones. To avail a tubeless tyre in your RE, you will first need to upgrade your rims. You could look at Rado alloy wheels, they are (I think) available through RE dealerships. Once you have the ally rims on you can choose the tyres with flat/curved treads. Read this one too http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/universa...tml#post568896 to understand a little about tyre terminologies.

    Warm Regards,

I use a med in the front and soft in the rear so it's a 50/50.

And congo for your purchase, and happy for you.

Haha my gamble paid off I presume. I'm just worried how the rear tyre will perform in Mumbai's monsoon. Less grip apparently from what I've read previously?

      Oh and Thanks.

Thank you for the reply and link. The tubeless option is one for future but leaving that for the moment which one could be a good rear tyre (non tubeless) with excellent grip on tarmac(wet conditions as well) and terrain

Need a quick update on TVS 130/70 17 soft compound tyres. The seller gave this option as the MRF rev ZS 130/70 was out of stock.

gyan_recl350, The Ceat Secura Sport is a good option for your requirements, got a friend who uses them on his 350 UCE and has no complaints at all.

Ajay.vinod, my two cents would be to stay away from TVS tyres, they have horrible wet grip

Bro I suggested the secura sport only cause I know someone who uses them and I myself have tried his bike and found the grip to be good.

Got no clue about other tyres for the bull, however you could ping seahorses, he could certainly help you out with this.

Thank you Snehit. Can you tell me if you experienced yourself or may be your friend would have told you. How is the grip on wet tarmac. This stock tyres suck on such conditions

gyan_recl350 Bhai, consider ceat vertigo, its a very good tyre especially when considering for a bullet. I my self using it and is very satisfied with the grip it gives both on and off road, and am talking about the latest one, with zapper pattern and not the pinstripe one which is used mainly for offroading use. Their are various models in vertigo range nowadays, so i will suggest go to a ceat dealer and checkout the tyres.

Thank you for the reply. And as they say "hear directly from horses mouth" so here I am getting it directly from horses mouth and that too from someone who's user name has horses in it .

As you said there are many Vertiog types now, so exactly which one are you using? Any pic would be of great help
