I am using it with tube right know. Aswin from banglore has been using it as a tubeless tyre. The key here is you need to fit it properly. Even a slight bend in alloy will not allow the tyre to be fitted as tubeless.

IRC tyres are available in Hyderabad, but nothing specific from Karizma. They are more in for 17 inch rims.

I am looking at Vee rubber for the front tyre.

              • need help regarding tyres for my p180ug3

hey guys....i just wanna change my tyres...to biggers...currently
                iam having

                FRONT:2.75*17,41p

                REAR:100/90*17,55P

so i want to change REAR to 120/90 MRF zappers..what p 200 has...

and front to what p200 has already

is it possible...can it affect mileage or anything..handling would be more secure though

what is the cost of those p200 tyres...>?

I do not know exactly, but with tube the weight of the tyre increases which directly affects the performance.

...also fuel consumption. A heavier tyre will create a greater rolling resistance.

No no, i wasn't talking abt the performance effects, rather is it safe to use the tube type tires as tubeless ones..?

If you can fit Sirac as tubeless, there will not be any problems absolutely. Only some michelins can be used as tubeless and not all. M45 though is a michelin, you cannot use it as a tubeless tyre. The guys at Michelin told Sirac can be used both as tube type as well as tubeless. I have not heard for other tube-type tyres being used as tubeless.

If you can fit Sirac as tubeless, it is more good than a tubetype fit. You can repair it yourself in case of puncture. The air will not go as long as the nail remains in the tyre.

Now, i will have to wait for another 20 days for the IRCs to arrive..!

One disadvantage of Tubeless tyre is, in the case of a rim bend, even the slightest, you will have a flat. It is not the case with tubed tyre.

The guy at Michelin told even M45 can be fitted as a tubeless. Try once.
