heard sirac is heavier so it'll affect acceleration..plus it looks HUGE...

i wanna know..how much difference there is between vyde and sirac,in terms of grip,(for me confidence while cornering is top priority !)

is sirac worth the loss of acceleration ??

plus since vyde has a rounder profile..is cornering EASIER on it ??

also which front tyres are good for the 220 ??

          thanks in advance..
Both are equally good tyres for the 220.I've used/using both the tyres....

Cornering grip level is more or less the same, the vyde being slightly better as its easier to flick around corners compared to the Sirac.

Sirac is definitely worth the loss in acceleration if you are into long distance touring and want the bike to run a little relaxed. And the acceleration reduces not due to the weight but more due to the higher profile as the Sirac sits 12mm higher than a stock tyre.

There's nothing like one tyre is more susceptible to punctures. I had about 3 punctures in my 15K kms ownership of the Vyde.

Plus both the tyres have the same downside, the rear tends to fishtail when ur lock the rear wheels.

If you are not having any issues with the stock then stick to it, its good enough.

          • hmm..well my stocks are abt 18k old..and the treads are pretty much gone...i dont feel confident anymore while cornering..

although,my rides are mostly 350-400kms long..i would love if the bike ran more relaxed..

so i'm thinking sirac's right now..

could you suggest any front tyres too ??

hmmmmm...... maybe ........ but in the end .... im more concerned bout the grip.... the knowledge never harms so a big thanx for that

but yet again....... the tyre warms up quicks ..gives great cornerin confidence n loved the way it throws water n puddles of mud on the trailin vehicles....

                    I mean the Full tire.
Rubber or feet usually mean the tire.

My Apologies for not being clear!!!

                            • hi

                              is it advisable to put a 100/80 front(zapper-fx) and 120/90(sirac) combo on a p220 ??

whats the effect of the difference in height of tyres??

                              a friend of mine said it's not advisable,if so,why ??

(btw still looking for any1's review on fz front tyres on p220!!!)
