    • Consider buying something like the sealant can from Gulf (or other brands). You just have to use it to fill up the tyre and it will seal the gap and hold air. Easy to carry and do. It is not supposed to be a permanent fix... but at least you wont get stranded somewhere, and you may not have to go to some unknown pucture guy who may vandalise your bike.

Haven't tried it myself yet, and dunno how well it will work with bike tyres... guess it should work well.

        • Another issue which troubles a lot is, whenever there is some slightly uneven road in longitude direction, and bikes run on it, the road tends to push away the bike away. Or if some ridge is there, instead of riding straight the bike tend to go inside that ridge.
earlier the bike use to simply ride normally, without geting swayed from its track.

Is it because of tyre only, or sometihng to with alignment of wheels or some bearing wearing.

          • Got IRC tyres for my avvy today from Globe agency, Karol Bagh. Its been raining cats and dogs in delhi, and even then the bike has shown a good cornering ability around the curves.

I couldn't find the details for Globe in this thread so here are the details for my fellow xmen:

Its supposed to be good for slower riding until you can get to a puncture guy. Its an emergency quick fix. Can't put a figure on how long it will go... guess that would depend on how big the puncture is.

This is something you can do after the puncture. For something you can do before it, you can use something like Slime.

                hey LP ,
well, before posting anything, i wana clear that; whatsoever i comment is completely of my views and my parts. I don't wanna offence anyone( as some pple got offensive few day back ), and it can be true that your views and experiences wont match with mine.
achcha, with the tuff-up tubes, they contains a sealent and it's in small quantity. To anyone, who is performance oriented(as I am), anything which slow downs the performance, is hell. i felt bikes( also activas) with tuff-ups, more stiff rather than normal tubes.
1st generation unicorn was the best(i feel it) tough it had lower profile tyres(perfom. is must), but didnt lik much the newer ones.
Also, people who use tuff-ups and also meeting punctures shops regularly, says, it's a mess to operates these tubes.

Do give ur views, findings and wat u decided for.

Tuff up tubes are never 100% puncture resistance . one time it did slow down the air leakage as i limped to the nearest puncturewalla, which i say is way better than me pushing the bike all the way
