  • Hi,

I need new tyres/tube for my Suzuki Fiero. Could someone tell me which ones, where I could get the tyres in Bangalore and what their cost would be?

    Size: Front is 2.75 18
    Rear is 3.00 18

Could someone also tell me what are my Size upgrade options along with the impact? Improvement in handling and grip is what i am looking for.

I usually ride in the city, with occasional highway rides on weekends.

    Thanks

    • Got m45 from sign tyres.. After the complain he gave me 4.00*18 for 1850/-
Changed my front too.. Mrf tubeless with tube 90/90*17 for 1410/- i am a happy man now
A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.

        hi,

can anyone suggest a good tubeless tyre for bajaj avenger 180. Does the rim need to be changed to alloy to accomodate the tubless tyre? thanks in advance...

        • Changed the tyres on my RTR on sunday. Went only to change the Rear tyre with Dunlop geo-crusier 100/90-18 with a Tuff up tube. i got the tyre but could'nt get a tuff up tube.

My bro saw vee rubber 110/80-18 tubeless tyre...so we bought that and also changed the front to R15 tyre to match the rear.

          Front R15 tyre 80/90-17 - 1400rs
          Rear Vee Rubber 110/80-18 - 2100rs
          Tubeless steel valve's - 2*150rs - 300rs
Tubeless punchture repair kit - 250rs
          Fitting charges - 150rs
          total was - 4,200rs

Now i know i was robbed by the shop guy...did'nt have any option coz it was a sunday and i could'nt go there on any other day! i just want to know how much i was robbed off!

The one you have put is:

Front R15's tyre and the rear is IRC.. Right.?? in the Apache
            BUT, IRC looks DASHING..

EDIT: The Steel NOZZLE only costs about a 50Rupees, Not 150!!!!
Can you please get some more, large and clear pictures of the Nozzle.

                          Hi,

How about MRF Zapper FS 2.75-18 for the front and Zapper C 3.00-18 for the rear? Does anyone have any experieces with these tyres?

                          Thanks

Have been using the Zapper FS and Y series on my CBZ-X for almost 3 years now. No problems yet. You can go with FS for the front and for the rear I would suggest Zapper Q over C as they have better compound and will provide better grip than C series. If possible also try michelin M45's for front and rear. They are excellent tyres.

                              Hi,

Alright Zapper FS confirmed for the front then. Regarding the rear, i had a look at the MRF website and I could not find a 3.00 - 18 Zapper Q, it starts at 90/90 - 18, which I guess is an oversize in my case. Thats the reason I was looking at Zapper C.

Any idea about the Price difference of MRF and M45 of both sizes? I know, M45 would be a much better tyre any day, any surface, but I am on a shoe string budget here .

                              Thanks,
