There's a catch, as anyone knows sticky things attracts grime etc, and let alone an open revving component like chain will, shall, and definitely would attract dirt and grime and as good as it lubricates it does attract grime and stuff. The best it to wash the chain with kerosene after a *really* long ride and lube it periodically. But it doesn't attract grime significant to worry about. But yes when the chain makes some strange noises, that's the time to know the chain has attracted some hard particles, just solvent clean and lube, you're all set.
Cheers!

and xpranav I cleaned with diesel before lubing. I dont think chain clean is worth when you got time and patience to clean
(I own both the spray bottles and am happy with the results)
