I am not recommending a 20W50 grade. I am leaving the decision to the bike owner to use a thicker oil. 10W40 or 15W40 or 20W40 will be enough. But a 10W30 oil for a 150cc bike at triple digit speeds is definitely going to cause uneven piston wear in the long run.I have also warned the bike owner that the warranty will be void if he goes ahead with this. So the decision is the bike owner's
PS : I have a Honda dream neo (110cc). Honda recommendation is 10W30 oil. After first 200 kms, I have changed to Motul 20W40 oil. Till now for every oil change, I have used 20W40 oil. Now bike has run 20000 kms. Till now I have not experienced any sluggishness and the bike still gives a mileage of 70 kmpl.

. If thats the case, then bajaj has achieved something which even Castrol, Motul, Shell and other oil giants have not yet achieved.
