sorry for the interruption
Somewhere in between i read someone recommending veedol super swift , gulf pride 4t plus and elf moto 4 gold as best options for unicorn , but when i asked for their details the last 2 had api specs sf/sg and i think those should not be used in unicorn( minimum required is API SJ).
Anyways my motive here is , how do you know its time to change the engine oil. My uni has done 3000 km since last oil change(stock oil) and is still running super smooth and sufficiently cool .So what are the symptoms of need of oil change.15% of my total ride consisted of extreme high revs upto 10k rpm and uni used to become worst in smoothness right after those revv ups and becomes more smooth after cooling down.
Hence i am zeroed on a valvoline champ 4t ss 20w40 , anyone tried it before ? any reviews ?The Automotive batteries are designed to work best in a typical short start-stop fashion.
So to increase the life of your automobile battery, blow the horn and flash the pass light in a quick start stop fashion instead of a conitnuous long horn blow or flash light continuous on!!
And obviously don't stretch the self start far too long.

Am using it currently. It s good. Nothing more, nothing less. Costs some 230 odd bucks only for a litre.Originally posted by honda_vings View PostHence i am zeroed on a valvoline champ 4t ss 20w40 , anyone tried it before ? any reviews ?
And it is an API SL graded oil with the heat characteristics of API SM. So it should provide more protection than conventional oils. When everything comes ur way, u r in the wrong way ;)

Valvoline 4t CHAMP 20W40 Synthetic Blend was given for just 100 INR in Pulsar Service Camp
Ive just completed some 60KMS with this - and OMG this Oil is superb
Ive been using TVS Oil for my Flame for more than 9500KM and suffered with many problems such as
1) Rough Engine Sound
2) Min Vibrations
3) Hard Gear Shift
After switching to Valvoline all my above issues is Rectified......
Ive planned to settle with this oil through out the life of my Bike.....
