    Mak 4t Excel 20w50
    Petronas Sprint 4t

Good Performance is very much required but not at the cost of burning a hole in pocket.
Any suggestions on the best oil?
If you are taking about best performance then Motul 300V.
If you are looking for good performance then Motul 5100.(tried by me)
If you are looking for OK or normal performance then Petronas or Valvoline(both mineral's) are good enough for normal riding conditions.

          Hi,
Castrol GTX is meant for cars only. Car's oil contain friction boosters which cause clutch slippage in bike's. so, please donot use a car's oil in bike.

I think Valvoline is also semi synthetic.
Also I just found that Petronas 4T 2000 20w50 is not JASO MA certified. Check this
              http://www.petronas.com/internet/corp/centralrep2.nsf/f0d5fd0d9c25fbdd48256ae90025ee04/d15d02316a1fef0d48256f8c0003ade6/$FILE/Sprinta%204T%202000.pdf

Where can I get Motul 5100 or Valvoline 4T premium in Mumbai?
Also I want to ask guys having UG3's using Motul 300v, is there any leakage problem coz of double ester technology?

Anywhere between 1.2-1.3 is normal for P200.

Use it once and you'll kick yourself for not using it till now.

That grade is perfect for your bike. At that price that oil is a steal.

The international standard for engine oils is 10W40. No syhthetic oil is made in India at the moment. All are imports and hence come in 10W40 grade. A 10W40 oil is better for your engine than a 20W40 one... mode so when it is a Fully Synthetic one.

Oil recommendations in Indian bike manuals are a mockery!

                              • I have a FZ-16. I recently started using Petronas Sprinta 10W40 Synthetic, and man, the bike feels amazing. Here is what I experienced :
                                1. One-push start even at 5 am in Delhi winter mornings.
                                2. Engine feels very rev-friendly (which I was sorely missing earlier).
                                3. Even though the bike warms up to optimal temperature in no time, the engine doesn't get hot on long rides and traffic jams.
                                4. Just Rs. 300, man. Why the hell are you still reading? Get a bottle for your bike today!
