where do you stay in andhra pradesh, if you are in hyderabad check with few shops in ram koti. if not, there is a castrol dealer 'Nuzen Lubircants' in Mehdipatnam,Hyderabad..he does have castrol power 1 racing 4T engine oil cans..I generally source from there..

I am from Guntur. My friend who lives in Hyderabad found Motul300v 10w40 in Raj Automobiles, Ramkoti(Found this in Motul Distributors List page). They gave discount of only Rs.30 where as in Vijayawada I got Rs.95 discount for Motul 300v 15w50. But I need 10w40 for my Unicorn. Told my friend to send me the oil via APSRTC. I am currently using CP1R4t so thought of trying Motul this time.

Changed to Motul 300v 10w40 on my Unicorn.
Definitely not satisfied with Motul. Engine feels smooth only for first few kilometers of riding, after the engine gets hotter all the smoothness is gone.
Only good thing is gear change has become smooth. No good for engine observed. My 7200km old Castrol Power 1 Racing 4T+30ml Nulon engine treatment felt damn smooth and free revving. Total dissatisfaction.

It is 2500 kms old.....
I used Castrol power 1 in it.....
But in the manual it is recommending 20w40/20w50 oil.....
and in someone from xbhp also told not to use castrol for this bike....

Please tell me what oil should i use.......

Well first of all congrats for the bike.
anyways for the engine oil only one word moto 4 gold by elf co. 20w50. I have tried a lot of oils and even the companies product volvoline but since they have changed there packing i mean 20w50 is missing from there box i am attaching the snap of it here too if u wana see that and i have tried the dtsi also, there is nothing in comparison with the elf engine oil it is amazing the smoothness and wow i can explain all hands down.. the gears have become so good that i cant explain it.
Just try it ones it is also not to expensive i got it for 220/- rs. Well the printed is showing 238/-.
Well try it dear u shall love it. trust me.

by putting this one i had to forgo my clutch plates in 7400 km only. got them changed, now using the new one all Courtesy the dam company for using such a bad oil it was all black in color just in 200 km.

hai guys...for yamaha fzs clocked 4000 kms, i need ur suggestion for oil change..wat brand and grade is suitable for my bike..currently i am using the yamalube(around 250 rs) but i feel its not good for my bike...please guys tell me good brand oil for my bike...
my bike now feel very harsh...so need suggestion to change quickly...please help me guys......

dont ever put a 15w50 for unicorn u can put a 15w40 oil or a 20w40 oil for this u use only one catrol active 20w40 very good and the best for your bike.

Confused on this 2T oil

After several years, I bought a 2T oil sachet from IOC pump; it was certainly not for using it on Rx, but to measure the quantity. However, the point to discuss here is not about quantity, the sachet said it was an engine oil, but how come it is being used to mix with petrol? I don't know. Any experts opinion pls? Tks.

i will be going 4 my 3rd servicin in April 1st week....
want to change the oil....so far usin tvs true(i doubt its quality).......m really not satisfied with it...i want to go for a better one..
i just want a smoother gearshift...n smooth ride...

should i go for castrol...or motul...budget will be 500 and bike is160RTR

I changed my bike's oil for the very first time to Motul 20W50 in my Suzuki GS150R since the motul representative suggested 20W50 during winters. Now that its time for a topup and its scorching summer, does someone recommend me something other than Motul for my bike or Motul 20W40 is Ok?

And then I had used Mineral oil, should I now use Synthetic or Mineral? Bike has reached 3.5K !
