    hey guys,
we often show off our rides on threads. we never give a mention to our life saving lids. according to me they are coolest thing on u when u are riding ur steed. they protect u and also make u stand out in the crowd.
my lid gets me considerate amount of attention on petrol stations and among friends. would be great if u share pictures of ur helmets. here is mine..
    happy riding...

            • Sorry guys, couldn't reply to your questions. Was on a long road trip, no access to the internet for three days.

              @apachian
I bought it from a shop opposite the noida stadium petrol pump.

The model number is SB-24. It's not listed on the web site.

              • A friend has just purchased the Vega lid for me from Bangalore. Funny thing is, in Hyderabad the designer ones are costing around 1K more than the non-designer ones, whereas in all other places they are costing the same!

@saif71184: I'm going tomorrow evening to get the Ninja 2G lid. Will post pics once I have it.

Yeah, I was thinking of 3G, but when I saw 2G I liked the overall shape&design better. It seems both were released on the same day. 2G has a thick rubber lining all around, so no issues keeping it down on any surface. Not much difference between 2G&3G, some features added&subtracted. The rubber lining is a huge plus in the 2G though. Flip-up button is on the inside for 2G, but outside for 3G. 3G has 4 static vents in front vs.only one movable in 2G. 2G has 2 static vents at the rear, 3G no rear vents. Visors same, but 2G has a button covering for reaching the visor screw. I will post a review after 2 days, 100km. with pics tonight&pics of the Vega high end in a couple of days once I receive it.

                          • Studds Ninja 2G review

                            Review after 2 days, 100km.
Fit: Excellent at head, snug around cheeks too. Broad at forehead&pretty good room near chin. Very huge on the inside compared to the Boolean. Strap area also well padded.
Padding: Excellent, good noise reduction too. In a different league altogether, Boolean comes nowhere near!
Vents: Rear vents work very well, front could have done with 2 more vents like the 3G, or head vents like the Boolean. Forehead tends to get a bit sweaty, but I'll start wearing my helmet cap once it beds in, so no issues.
Performance at high speeds: No buzzing/whistling, but yes, some breeze does creep in since there is a bit of gap near the chin area. If you turn your head to the side, you can feel the rear vents working!
Visor: Scratch Resistant, too new to comment on whether it really stays that way!
Build&Finish: Opening mechanism similar to Boolean, way better than Ninja Gen 1 which I used for 3 years.
Mine is the glossy one, stickers are embossed. Initially found the stickers were not stuck completely, but hope they will hold on in time! That is the only con that I can think of the helmet.
Pros: Excellent padding, good jaw protection in full face mode.
Cons: Non removable padding, absence of head vents.
Embossed stickers look good, but don't look as though they'll stick on long!
Overall, I find it VFM at Rs.1300 (my friend also bought one so we got a discount), for those with broader foreheads&who need thicker padding, this/3G is a better deal compared to the Boolean, at a price less Rs.500. All you miss out probably on would be the 'internal' visor or sunglass system that Boolean has to offer.
