^^^ The way I look at it is - "@ 1350 (or is it 1450) grams it is not heavy. For similar protection levels & price if you want a lighter helmet it is a difficult search. And, when you manage to find one, pls check how easy/difficult it is to procure a spare visor..."
Yes, I am looking for more options... if you find one, please let me know

Boolean was a severe disappointment. Very thin padding, narrow design, hardly anything around the forehead-used to give me severe pain after 15min.of usage, chin used to touch in front. Visor was fine, but almost all helmets above 1K have good quality visors. Only pro I could think for it was the internal visor, that too used to rest on the nose. In case of going over potholes/bumps, it can hurt the nose too. I think the weight was around 1650 grams, not sure though.
I think this Vega matches up to the international helmets in terms of features&quality. However, no comparison with SparX/KBC etc. Jaisa paisa waisa maal, you see!Last edited by Sarvajit; 04-17-2009, 04:39 PM.Quench my thirst with gasoline!

Got my AGV-MPA with Gautam's(Gd76) help from Megha Enterprises, Lalbaug Rd. My stolen MPA helmet had served me well during night rides, thanks to its excellent visor, so I opted for the same.
Padding is top-notch. Fits snuggly. Keeps out wind noise much better than my old MPA. Heavier than the MPA(its approx 1.5 kg) but very comfortable. Ridden with it on for more than 3 weeks now and not a sign of neck pain.
Thanks again Gautam
