thanks guys do this much for me dear.Originally posted by Raneet View Postcan you tell me how much this costed you?
My 2 cents :
1. As these helmets are imported, they will be having better design, graphics, quality. Otherwise, Studds Ninja which I have used 8 years back done almost same service.
2. One day while driving, the visor with the flip-up came off from one side. Just collected the parts and screwed them back, need allen keys for that. Also foam inside the helmet and the material is good quality. But was not fitted well (may be for my piece). I have fixed it later. All these were not unexpected, so I am not unhappy.
3. Price of the flip up will be always double, comparing to normal helmets from the same brand.
4. I don't think Cross or LS2 are DOT/Snell approved, even if DOT/Snell stickers will be there in the helmets. Also flip-ups are not recommended by DOT/Snell, due to safety. The DOT standard does not require chin bar testing, but Snell rarely approves any flip-up helmets. May be ECE certified, but not sure.
5. I am using the helmet daily, while using my wife's Activa maximum speed @ 50 KM/H. For serious biking, I am using more reliable and different brand. Mean to say that I don't rely on these helmets for serious biking.Last edited by sreehari_r1; 06-19-2011, 02:36 AM.

The price was 4K when bought it 1 year back. I haven't used LS2. What I understand is both LS2 and Cross are almost same quality and price. It will be different in different models. It should be available in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi. Most decent helmet shops should be having them. Sorry mate, no idea about the local shops from where you can get it. Please check with any local XBhpian.

there are many other good websites for closeouts, like denniskirk.com, mostorcyclegear.com, motorcycleclouseouts.com etc....again none of them sell all brands...hope it helps
