Bro I actually doubt if painting is good option because studds helmet manual says painting helmets may actually take a toll on impact absorption capability of the lid.. i would say go for some sticker job ..anybody more experienced may put some lights on this matter.

As long as the lid is handled properly during painting&not tossed around i.e., no impact to the shell, I don't see how it can reduce the impact absorption capability!

                Bro...
What do you opine about the custom-Paint??
Is it safe to go ahead with ??
If yes,can you suggest any custom-painter in chennai/bangalore (preferably chennai) which can give a top notch finishing to the paint-job..

                      • Hi guys.. Am looking for a helmet for my bike (a white RTR 180). Have zeroed on LS2. And maximum range is 3k; not beyond that. Can anyone tell me where I can get LS2 helmets in Delhi? Have heard of Chopra helmets in Karol bagh, and also that they overcharge. If possible, can someone post the price of the various LS2 helmets? I have found huge price difference even for the non DOT certified helmets. LS2 dragon from Rs. 2200 to Rs. 3250. So, can someone tell the latest prices of the helmets??

                              • Help

Went to helmet paradise, bangalore yesterday. Saw some good LS2's.
The problem is that they were all ISI approved and had E9 mark on the chin strap.
Is this how all LS2's are? The shopkeeper said that since they are imported by Vega, they are ISI approved and that all old LS2's had DOT rating not the new ones. P.S.-the Cross were still DOT approved.
                                RTR170
