Suggest you wait for the Sparx from PRS - or check with PRS resellers. You're likely to end up with a fake otherwise as a lot of them are in the market especially from Delhi.

Can anyone please tell that how to check LS2 Helmet for it's Genuineness. I'm going to buy a new one so please help.

The only way to discern whether a helmet is fake or is not is the guy who sells it, at least from my experience. Moreover, you can't know it yourself unless you see it in person or if you've used one.

Almost all the fake ones out there are so ditto, only the usage of them can paint a clear picture as to fake or not. But sourcing it from a well known retailer or LS2 branded helmet shops, if any, then you can be rest assured it's a genuine one.

That said, common sense plays a big role in identifying fakes.

Ask the seller from who you've purchased the helmet from, he might be able to help you. SparX is a good brand and though it is not that wide spread here, the availability of their visors too is of speculation. The best bet would be to contact the authorized reseller.

Dealers are quoting 3000-3200 for LS2 FF350/351 here in Kolkata.Is LS2 (Non air-pump models) cheaper in Mumbai? Gonna be in Mumbai for a few hours because I have a hopping flight to Dubai,that too on a Sunday evening.Had planned on taking some nice lid from Dubai,but can't find any good shop.

You may contact Kunal, 9811337937. He's got a shop at Karol Bagh whom I happen to visit today. I enquired about yours too with shipping charges and he said it should be around Rs. 2500 + 400(approx courier charges).

He currently has no matt black model with him but he's expected to stock them by mid-november.

Helmet Advise

Hi Guys,

In spite of getting in touch with PR guys and guys from SparX as well. Out of stock.
I don't think i can procure either SparX freeborn or SparX FSS for myself.

I ride a r15 version 2.0 limited edition, Red and White. Thus searching something with the same theme. Great Graphics is a must.
Price range - Can check to 8.5K.

I am considering other options now.
Daijya - G-Fit Samurai : D-220 Red - This seems ok, but need to check out.
LS2 - It is very common in Pune.
Cross - Not so catchy graphics.
Didn't like nuvo.

I was going through Rider's Discount and the helmet is available there. They are asking 25 $ shipping charges. and around 140 $ is the cost of the Helmet.
It is still at par with what is being offered at either PR or vicky online site.

But I have few questions.
a. Is it trust worthy
b. Would 140 + 25 $ be the final price, or do i end up paying more in forms of inland taxes <sales, octroi etc>
c. Proper size is a concern.
d. Anyone has idea about promotional discount code that i can use there.
e. Finally, if some one is ordering from there, let me know, we can club in and share the shipping charges.

It depends on which visor, really. If it's the local AGV, I guess then you would be able to get it from the retailers who sell these local helmets. But if the helmet is of imported, you either, need to source it from the retailer you bought it from here in India or from the dealer you sourced it from abroad.
