Re: Helmets
As long as you have bought your helmet with the sharp 4 star rating on the visor there shouldn't be a problem,Originally posted by Joel.r View Postsorry guys..i think i have some troubles in uploading( for me its visible when i click the link

Re: Helmets
For now, just forget it and enjoy the helmet. If you delve deeper, you're only gonna get frustrated. Just diss about it, you got your helmet, ride it and enjoy. I have friends who have the same model helmets and are going just fine. Period.Originally posted by Joel.r View PostThanks man!!! But still confused upon genuinity after reading lasky's post

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
THE END

Just relax and take a ride to feel the goodness of the crown that you have purchased. If you are still stuffed with worries it is better to call Laxmi Auto, Pune and get you worries done.Originally posted by Joel.r View PostThanks man!!! But still confused upon genuinity after reading lasky's post

BTW Helmets are something that are meant for 5-6 years only and then they should be replaced.

Re: Helmets
sorry but the average life span for even the branded helmets are at max 2-3 years that is if you don't crash. If crashed, they suggest for immediate replacement as even hairline crack in a helmet won't function properly.Originally posted by xpranav View PostJust relax and take a ride to feel the goodness of the crown that you have purchased. Re: Helmets
I had read it to be 5 years here Guide: How to Choose a Good Helmet in India | Bike Chronicles of India . And yeah I must apologize to miss the crash/fall situation part.Originally posted by lineinfire View Postsorry but the average life span for even the branded helmets are at max 2-3 years that is if you don't crash. Re: Helmets
That's what's being claimed. But I'm skeptical since the FF351 weighs 340 gms less and is much lighter and therefore has to be a different construction. How can they be the same model if they have different construction? I don't buy it.Originally posted by Cleaner View PostWas LS2 FF350 discontinued? I can't see FF350 on the LS2 website, but there is a similar looking helmet, named FF351, maybe they changed the model name.

On a different note - (this may be a bit OT) - during my work week, I handle and come in contact with a LOT of different types of gear and helmets. Most of it is mundane and some downright crap - but every once in awhile, I get to work with and handle something special. These are a few of the special pieces of art I got to handle this week!
The Schuberth SR1 - probably the best made helmet I have seen till date and now at the top of my bucket list!
The Arai Corsair V - no doubts as to why this brand is so popular.
The Shark Speed R Sauer . I was surprised by the quality of this helmet.
The AGV K3 from the VR series. Popular because of VR but no match for the others - still worth a mention because of amazing graphics!Last edited by Sunnyside_up!; 08-28-2013, 07:22 PM.
