But none of the helmets you mentioned come prefitted with iridium or mirror visor .

In studds shifter outer visor is a clear visor & inner one is sun visor and in KYT RC7 you can ask planet DSG to replace stock clear visor with multicoated visor.

Firstly, you dont buy a helmet based on what bike you have, you buy it because of safety it provides.

If you have missed the post right above your post, most of us here doesnt support a hinge mechanism protection for your face.

If you have searched the thread you could have got some options

And iridium visor and all thoe stuff can be bought later too

i am preferring motocross helmet because of sunshade only.

Why not get a goggles or a helmet with inner visor. "Motocross helmets",does the name tells you why they are called that?

                    Hi Guys,
A first timer here and looking for some advice on Helmets , hope the forum is correct

I should get my Thunderbird 500 Flicker in about next 20 days and looking for a decent lid to go along .

Now, the real question is should it be wise to keep two different helmets one for daily commuting and one specifically for rides ?

I am fat, well no doubts to that and find all too snugged up in MT Blade and LS2 FF320 or is it the way they are meant to ? Was not able to get my spectacles in .

In Pune there is this gentleman who runs DSMoto who introduced me to HJC and AGV lids . He has HJC TR-1 and AGV K3SV and I absolutely loved the AGV . I further googled some sharp ratings and found this absolute masterpiece HJC IS17, currently not available with DSMoto in correct size but can anyone help me where can I get one ? Still not sure which brand or piece to go with . I would be happy shelling upto INR 25k.

Questions Questions lots of them . Sorry for the long post , here a Kawaii Potato

People here always prefer & preach full face helmet.

Full face helmet = best protection, all weather, all sport.
Off road helmet = off road only
Modular helmet & half face helmet =
Only for slow commuting to office. Not safe.

                          Congrats on the new bike.
Yes the helmets are meant to be snug fit. I would suggest go for two different helmets, my signature have some options you can look into.
I would personally suggest you to stay away from LS2s though.
AGV K3 is one of the best helmets, if pocket allows go for it.

And the helmet need not to fit your glasses, the glasses should be made to fit the helmet. Its uncomfortable in starting but with time, that will go away

Yea get something like MT for daily commutes. AGV for trips. As you have 25k budget I think you could buy an AGV for ~20 & an MT with the remaining money.

Go for full face. One without internal goggles is better.

If you are wearing spectacles for vision corrections go for an LASIK surgery. You will love it. And if you want to wear goggles go for Aviators. They have thin frames & made for helmets.

                            Thanks for that lovely potato.

Thanks a lot for the update , I am still reading through the list of Helmets you posed seems exhaustive . AGV K3 SV should be it I guess then , but i'll save it for long rides. Daily commuting should be one I could procure first .

Are MT helmets that good? I found them way too snug , can be the case with my head being OVAL and the one I tried could be for long oval , but I can surely be wrong should try one again . Which MT models would you suggest ?

AGV would be close to 22 K and yup seems to be the one i'll keep for long rides . Hope I get the bike soon , Enfields do test your patience in all demands

I too wear specs and trust me with my helmet or rather any helmet I never found any issue. I ride with chrome visor.

MTs are good , rather VFM, as written, they should be snug and not like compressing your head, they are bound to be tight near cheek area.

PS: Lasik is costly now. one hospital quoted me 50k, in that I can buy couple ray ban and crizal glasses
