Even i agree with your view about helmet locks. But there are situations where we cannot or would not like to carry our helmets along, so what do we in such situations.

I don't go anywhere where there is a problem of keeping helmet, I cant leave my LS2, either I keep it with the parking people and give them some money or if I am in mall I keep it at Big Bazaar or any big mega mart's luggage counter

Did you mean colin (household one?) or Collinite wax? I read somewhere on this as well as other forums that cleaning with colin is not good for clearcoat on bikes so i guess it will have similar results on the helmets as well. Though the process might be slow.

I spoke with Kunal and he quoted LS2 for Rs.2400 (did not mention any particular model though, so i am guessing it as the base model). He also said that prices for LS2 are going to be increased from next week hence has asked to visit them tomorrow.

No that price is for all full face designs and get it asap.

Availabilty of decent helmets in Chandigarh? Checked Helmet shopee in Sec-21, shop offers Vega, Steelbird, Studds and few other brands. Tried scorpion range, somehow didn't fit well.Steelbird model did fit well. I am impressed.
But somehow It didn't impress me enough.

I tried Auto queen, they were having only two pieces of 48s, yellow-white and blue-white. I am looking for red white as I am having R15 LE. I have asked my friend in Chennai to check if it is available there. If that also fails, I will go for Plan B.

Finally went for Plan B as currently there is no YF red white in stock. Got a Cross Split Red white for 2.5K. Was kind of an impulsive purchase. Haven't used it yet. Fit is good, but looks a bit bulky. Weight mentioned is 1350
+/-50 grams. I am skeptical about the ECE certification though as it is the same "sticker" as in LS2 helmets. Came with a tinted visor, but changed it to clear.
Also checked out Vega Shadow red white, but it was in M size and weighs 1500+. It was priced at 2.4 k. It also had the ECE "sticker".

How to change visor????

Guys, I've a stupid query. I want to know the method of changing visor in my Nuvo helmet. I've just bought a tinted visor for it but am unable to change. Nuvo helmet has some ratchet system for quickly changing visor but dunno how it works. Please help !!

There is bikers paradise on rajbhavan road..opposite shell petrol bunk.. abids after big bazaar..there r 3-4 shops on the right side..

Studds have the Ninja range of helmets in around Rs.1600. the front portion is detachable

IMO, the ones at Abids quote very high. The LS2 Dragon was for 2800 at Biking Terminal and was quoted for 4200 at Abids.

Sol Helmet !

Hi,

I bought a SOL flat black helmet from spartan progear (ECR, chennai) for my cbr 150R...

as per the website, the price is 4200..i ordered the same with sparton progear.. he said it will take one weeks time.. after a week, when i went get the helmet, there was a small damage (for me, its not a damage at al )... But the guy reduced 500 for it and i bought the helmet for 3700...

Helmet is quite heavy to carry. but while riding, its not weighing much... so far expeirience is good with the helmet...
