If you order it from the website, it'l cost you almost the same. i.e 4575 + 700(shipping) = 5275. Even I have have the same helmet and stay in mumbai. I had ordered it online but was lucky as a friend was coming to Mumbai, so the shipping charges was cancelled. If you have any friend staying in Chennai or Banglore and is coming to mumbai, you can ask him to get it for you. Or simply buy it from A.H.

Harsh - shipping rates have come down since you bought your helmet. It is now Rs.500 for insured courier.

Doon - the rates on the website show the prices without taxes or vat. It is mentioned on the site. In Chennai there is no tax on helmets, so it costs only Rs.4575/-. In the case of Mumbai, there is VAT, Octroi and CST, which amounts to about 14 -15% more. If you know your size, you can save a bit by ordering online.

Daijya is bloody heavy helmet, my head just dangles to one side, when I test tried them once in a dealer here. They just had three helmets, and I tried the Carbon helmet in Daijya brand, which is even bloody heavier than the normal Daijya.

Daijya and LS2 are both more or less the same design wise, but the former is tad heavier in my opinion after I wore.

                  Cheers!

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Vijay, Daijya is manufactured by MHR Helmets in China - same as LS2. That's why they're so similar.

Yep, Sunny ji, indeed they are. Prime example are the breath deflector themselves.

                      • is that the reason why ls2 has more premium feel and better fitting than daijya as mhr doesnt want any other product to be better than their own brand?

SOLs themselves aren't that light, I agree, but compared to other helmets out there, they are pretty light. Some LS2 models are even lighter than SOL, but most fall in the same ballpark.

                            Cheers!
