  • It is indeed clumsy the cart handles in their checkout section. But I would strongly recommend you to shoot a mail to them for any queries you may want to ask.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Though the booking system in the site is weird. The email works fine and they have exceptional way of handling problems if any. Speaking from personal experience, so i guess i would suggest that you can go forward with the purchase and would like to add one more thing, shipping will be quick and efficient.

      Cheers

Had to search a lot to find it.Only this graphics was available.
Shop owner told that scorpion is no longer produced,in april a new batch of 2k+ helmets will be launched by studds to compete with LS2.
Scorpion feels a little heavy and really durable. Its got removable liners,4 ventilation holes.

Glad you've made a good decision. Yes it's a little heavy but if you can get a silver tinted visor it'd look real cool.

Or go with a Gold tint, I have a white helmet with one.
Nice graphics. I first thought it was a Scorpion brand helmet, I hadn't seen those graphics in that brand.

Haha! Beck, you lucky damned souls get the best out there ain't you if you're in Canada that is . But you gotta keep in mind we are poor souls here in India and know we pay exorbitant prices for something which we know it ain't really worth the spend.

Waiting for that day the dollar and rupee to be on par which umm... well...

                  Cheers!

                  • which helmet again

                    Gentlemen,
I have a new CBR250R C-ABS in Black/silver color. Right now, I am using my old full face Vega helmet (black with silver flames). I feel that this may be heavier compared to other helmets? (I don't have the figure).
I am considering to upgrade to something better but bit more lighter than this. I am having a budget of say about 4K. What do you guys recommend?.
                    Thanks.

The best prices are in US, Canada is expensive, but we do get good stuff.
The helmets that ya'll get in India have way better graphics though. So I figured the tints were affordable too. When I was riding there, the popular tint was silver with cross-hairs in them.

By the way are helmets with drop down inner visor's available in India? Like the Scorpion EXO 1100?

                      • Yes you have, one dealer selling them. But prices range anywhere from 8K and above.

                        Cheers!

I use the below tests when trying on helmets:

With the chin strap secured, grab the helmet on each side of the chin bar and try moving the helmet side-to-side. Your checks should move with the helmet as you move it. If the helmet moves without moving your checks, it is too big or the wrong shape.

Push on the front of the helmet in the middle of the chin bar. The helmet should not come away from your head in the back and the chin bar should not touch your mouth or nose.

No helmet should ever fail this next test: with the helmet securely fastened, grab the back of the helmet and try to roll it over your head and off. This may sound extreme, but helmets that are too large can actually come off this way and will surely come off in an accident.

I would still recommend going with your correct size. Helmets are supposed to sit a little snug initially as they will loosen up (about half size) quickly.
But, I think if you are doing less than 70-80kmph speeds, as long as the above are met, it should be ok. I am not sure how practical 'balaclava' are for regular use.

I am not aware of anyone else in the country ( please correct me if I am wrong ) who sells properly certified helmets in size 'Small'. I would strongly recommend that you buy the proper size than resort to jugaad.
