They have a small compartment of two AAA batteries logded at the rear, which power the LEDs. You can change those batteries when they're drained out by simply removing that small compartment and installing fresh batteries.

    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Yup, you can clearly see the button at the bottom of the led panel.3 options while on:full time on and two intermittent speeds.press again and its off.the quality is above what we see on the locally available ls2.like I said, the helmet feels SoliD.

Nothing can be better than LS2 in that price range. Mumbai xBhpians can help you with sellers.

Led? Or ls2.the two main models stocked are 384 and 350/50.graphics are the main price increasing factor I believe.range starts at 3.1k down south.
However do take a look at Sol helmets if possible.range starts at 4k thou.i feel theyre better quality.they're the ones also famous for built in led stoplights.

SOL SF-1 / SOL SL68S . Both these models have LED. the SF-1 costs Rs.5400 and SL-68s costs around 5k. The SF-1 has dual visor, but the SL 68s has better ventilation (at least on paper).

I have been using the SOL SF-1 for the past few weeks now. Have also riden it during a rainy day and at night. It is helpful as everyone notices it and is also an attention grabber. Many people think i have modified my helmet with those LED lights . Not many people are aware that such helmets do exist.

Totally agree. Though i found out yesterday that the SF-1 is heavier than the Ninja that i had been using, but still i dont feel any pressure or heaviness on my neck yet. maybe during crouched ridding it might be a pain.

Please recheck the cost. I have the same model but the color is black instead of the green. The Spartan Pro Gear website mentions the price for this at Rs.5400 and i got it at the same price from Delhi.

I dont know about other brands but you can get the SOL SL68s at around 5k. It has better ventilation, looks, LED lights minus the dual visor feature.

The LED feature is a boon especially for those who ride more at night, like me. No use if you use it during the day. I was wondering why didnt any Indian Manufacturer brought a model with this feature yet. I dont know of any indian brand that has LED in it.

For this model (picture above) the battery compartment is right on the top of the helmet and for operating the LED a small power button has provided with 3 functions.

Due to higher taxes in my state is the most probable reason for the variation in price.can't do much about this.

Yes, in Kerala the prices tend to spike up a bit due to taxes, actually getting it from Chennai is the best bet, i hear there are no taxes on helmet there.

There is no VAT on helmets in TN. However, SPG uses insured logistics which cost Rs.500/- per helmet, so the prices tend to even out. Buying from your local reseller will help since you can size your helmet properly.
