Re: Helmets
You've answered your query partially. Any visor that is scratched to an extent inhibits vision accuracy, especially during night. The scratches by default scatter the light and makes the stars in front of you, which incidentally happens to be the where most of us get glared/blurred etc or whatever one wants to call it.Originally posted by jethmalani25 View Posti was going thru collection of airoh, any particular thing u suggest comsidering the fact tht when its dripping bad out, visiblity shouldnt be distraught cos with current one that i have is all scratched and blurry...

It's not just AIROH, any helmet with significant scratches on them will impair vision and it's imperative that one gets changed it accordingly. Of course, with brands, even the VISOR rates shoot up. My AIROH GP500 spare visor costed 4.2k for a tinted one, but just didn't go for it. I mean I can buy a top model LS2 or SOL with that money. So waiting for the current one to *degrade*.

Re: Helmets
You have really pointed out a great factor. Indeed, what most of us miss to figure out when buying any product is the cost of spares/replacements as well as the easy availability.Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View PostMy AIROH GP500 spare visor costed 4.2k for a tinted one, but just didn't go for it. The cost of buying is just one thing while the cost of maintenance is entirely another.

Re: Helmets
Steelbird helmets are pretty good. And the ADONIS's shell is quite strong and doesn't mend that easily as other helmets. Though it's shape is completely a "weido" one for me personally. But the cheekpads are where it lets one down, not that upto the mark. But for lower end of the spectrum helmet, it's okay.Originally posted by anmol_1990 View PostHow is SteelBird's Adonis Helmet?

Re: Helmets
@B7ACKTHORN : Want to add something. That helmet makes the back of your head just above the neck vulnerable as its completely open, secondly the chin area of the helmet is pure plastic which can break at the slightest impact and it might pierce through face. Honestly I would suggest everyone to stay away from these plastics and save some more and get a decent one atleast.Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

Re: Helmets
Absolutely, prateek. The front end is little clumsy. The rear and sides are pretty okay, and the cheekpads aren't that good to begin with and moreover personally, the design is a big let down for me. But often I've seen them a lot on roads and happen to check them years back and it's getting quite a good following, wonder why and how.Originally posted by prateek2210 View Post@B7ACKTHORN : Want to add something. Half helmets are never safe, however costly they might be. Get yourself a decent full face helmet.Originally posted by sandy.avy220 View PostAnyone help with helmet for black avenger I have half Vega helmet looking for a branded half helmet if possible else suggest me the best
