I bloody envy all those guys in America, getting good stuffs at steal prices.

But you can try Revzilla.com, Sportbiketrackgear, Motorcyclegear.com, these are the top sites where I always keep my eye on and most people have gotten their stuffs from here, both nationally and internationally, and Sportbiketrackgear offer oodles of offer, check them out.

    Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

    THE END

Do they accept payments from our cards? Do they ship to India? How much do they charge for shipping?

Usually the total cost come almost double of the product price.
custom+deliver charges and all. Unless you have someone to bring it for you here, it becomes too costly.

            Ride safe and have fun.

Any of you guys own/owned a SOL Dual Sport (SS1)? If yes, can you guys share the pros and cons of this helmet? I'm planning to buy one and I'd love to hear your comments. I already spoke to Sunny at Spartan Pro Gear about this helmet, but I'd love to hear what the others have to say as well.

Yes, I have this helmet. Compared to my last helmet (LS2 Phobia) this helmet is a step up in quality. The air flow is much better. But the helmet weights a bit more compared to the LS2.

All, in all a very good helmet for the Duke. Compliments the look perfectly. Only one serious issue - you will have to get rid of the front shade type thing. At anything above 80kmph, that thing interferes majorly. Your head will be pulled in all directions by the air flow and the helmet will sound like a hurricane.
Your biking tells a lot about the person you are!

So it's not comfortable to do speeds over 100.. have you removed that shade type thing from yours? How's the air flow and riding comfort now? Can you post some pictures with the lid removed?

This was what I was worried about. If that thing will interfere with the airflow and if it'll be uncomfortable doing speeds over 100Kmph.

I personally love the Orange/black color from the SS1, but I'm thinking if I should get a full face Hemet because of this issue. Please advice.

Hey, I DID search the thread but I was not able to find any reviews that talked about the airflow and the wind drag.

It does lose it's funky looks with the lid off. Wondering if I should just get the full face Hemet. I like the hornet too! Maybe I should just get that.

Its has got some nice little reflective strips at the bottom, which comes at neck level once you wear the helmet. Good for night time visibility.

Air conditioned interiors, the huge intake port at the top of helmets help in pulling fresh air on top of the head. The channels inside the shell help the hot air to go out of the 4 port at the back of helmet.

Pin lock mechanism does an awesome job, it is basically a transparent sheet of plastic which has feel of rubber. On the one side of it, around the boundary of the sheet there is raised line of rubber, which basically when attached to the visor creates a pocket of air between visor and Pin lock. Since air is a bad conductor of heat, it controls the temperature and controls the fog, principally it is similar to the window panes in the centralised A/C building with double glass.

Nexx's obsession to details doesn't end there, with each helmet they provide custom fitting strips which can be used at different position in the helmet to get a perfect fit. Luckily for me I get a snug fit with using any of them. But definately a nice touch.

Performance:- This is the lightest helmet and no questions about it, you have to really hold this in hand to believe it. Riding while wearing it, I some time get a feeling that I am not wearing a helmet at all which I believe is good thing since long distance rides are painful for necks and head. The side profile is excellent, the designed aerodynamic works to perfection while look sideways at high speeds it doesn't pushes your neck wildy and thats very important since it could be dangerous and distractive too.
The best thing I like about it is the noise reduction, I know this is very subjective as it varies person to person but from my personal experience its amazing. It has double padding for ears and it really works. The only problem I have found with sound isolation is, I am having trouble in deciding on the gear change as I no longer can hear the engine noise correctly may be I will get used to it soon.

The next best thing on this lid is its view port, which I can bet is the largest as compared to any other helmet in the market. It has some two small reflective stripes, which will light up when you open the visor by using the light from incoming traffic. Two similar stripes are placed under the fast shot hubs as well, for side visibilty.

In the end I would say I am really happy with this lid and even though its price is on the higher side but the weight of it totally justifies it.
