Sun visor as they are called, will not be problem as such. I tried it once on the "famed bucket" and they weren't of any hindrance. But if you have a those fancy Fastrack glasses which have larger frames then they might be of hindrance. But small frame folks will have little to no problem. The issue is I couldn't see properly with those my specs + sunvisor + the outside visor. I'd pretty stick with my full face helmet with a tinted visor and my specs.

Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Style part: full face helmets look way cooler than modular ones. With open front part, they won't be any stylish.
long rides: looks like you did even read a single post before posting. For long rides, it is recomended to use a full face helmet. The modular ones from studds/ vega are not strong enough.

you may think i am being rude, i myself am currently using a ninja 3G, but neither do i do any long rides nor do i ride much these days.nmy commute is only 2-3 kms daily for the last year or so. And i plan to get a better one soon.
be safe and get a full face one.

for the style part i do like to ride with my goggles on..... i'm not trying to get argumentative, from the reviews i do think that it isn't safe as full face helmets....
how about steelbird zorro sb 34

I recently bought a Studds scorpion full face helmet for Rs.1650.
I must say it is really well built comes with good padding and it feels sturdy.
It is an excellent VFM product.
I even found the Studds scorpion well built (in terms of quality of padding provided and overall feel) then a LS2 (could have been a fake).
And it is much better if you compare it with a Vega helmet (I have used formula HP and boolean).
It is one of the better helmets at this price point. One can even check out the steelbird SB10 series.

Few pictures of my lid.

There is sufficient amount of padding around just make sure you get right size usually the shopkeepers just keep the L size and say it is available only in that size.

Do not expect any ventilation, the air vents are more show, less functional. The only function they serve is create a lot of noise.

I have the same lid currently, the opening mechanism is not sturdy enough and the chin protection could have been better, thats why i have shortlisted studds scorpion, and in my personal opinion this is the best VFM helmet in this budget with enough protection.
Btw you might want to have a look at ninja 3g by studds itself, its better in terms of quality from 2g version

is this available in S size for small heads?
DukeDey

got the helmet and gears from cochin yesterday via a friend who came here for weekend.

its SOL SF2. missing the LED... it was my small head size that mattered most.
