Yes it is !
There is no wind noise till 100kmph but after that slowly the wind noise creeps in to our ears.
The visor that i had got with the helmet is the mercury one but iam afraid of driving with those kind of visors at night times already met a small accident few months ago when iam using MPA helmet which is with tinted visor. So immediately changed to normal one because my driving conditions involves nightimes that too on highways.

The best part of the helmet is it is weight less than most of the bulky helmets available at the same price range.

Less wind noise is exactly what I was looking for. Fed up with ninja 2g due to high wind noise.
I am buying it

The wind noises starts from between 70 to 80-85kph, saying as I have been using it from past several months, good helmet though for those who are looking for a helmet at around 2k, now new graphics have also been launched, I took it when the product was new to the market and quite happy with it, next upgrade would be a SOL Hornet. . .
truelypulsarian no noise till 100kph might be when there is absolutely no wind. . . Else 70 is the starting. . . BTW why dint you go for a clear visor. . ? There were options for tinted/clear, I have the clear and it's pretty good and helps me for my night riding, as mine also involves night riding . . . Light weight is the main reason I went for it, . .

Cheers!!!

Nope! No wind noise. What you hear is loud turbine noise post 85.

This is because Vega has some contract to build LS2 models with ISI mark for sale in India. Then, they blatantly copy the design on to their own helmets and sell them cheap(er).

A new helmet launched by Studds.
Saw this on the FB page of DJ-Helmets and they said the price is Rs. 1995, but it isn't on the Studds website.
Looks good though

Yes I had an opportunity to try them on. And in my honest opinion they are the very definition of "waste of money".

The inner padding can not be detached, feels very cheap and the wind noise is horrible on it. Even the graphics/paint isn't of the best quality. If one could try wearing an egg shell, this is what it would feel like.

The helmet is not good at wind noise cancellation at highway speeds.
