Re: Helmets
There is Studds Shifter and Scorpion in the range of MT. I would suggest you to go for MTOriginally posted by Akash_Kiran _ Balram View Post
Because original AGVs are not this cheap, what you are saying is AGV MPA helmets which went missing from the market few years ago. I would suggest to go for MT or other helmets in this range.Originally posted by srj.dvy View Post

Re: Helmets
IIRC Royal Enfield tied up with MPA AGV (makers of the Indian made AGV helmets that used to retail for ~ Rs 2200 years ago before Cross, LS2 came in) to manufacture RE AGV helmets. For Rs 4500 you have different options in the market, do a bit of research to make the right choice.Originally posted by srj.dvy View PostOh

Re: Helmets
Its not fake, it came to Indian market in collaboration with MPA. And that is where the real AGV's specs were compromised. But as mentioned you do have MT, Studds, and other helmeta. Increase lil bit and you can get SOL too.Originally posted by srj.dvy View PostOh

Re: Helmets
I was searching online for HJC helmets and came across bikegear(dot)in. It has few HJC helmets for good price. But the size is shown as universal fit!
None of the models are available in various sizes. It seems fishy. HJC owners and experts please shed some light.

Re: Helmets
For HJC, look at performance racing store. They have original stuff and valid sizes.Originally posted by arya809 View PostI was searching online for HJC helmets and came across bikegear(dot)in. It has few HJC helmets for good price. But the size is shown as universal fit!

Re: Helmets
This model (Shifter) is the best one from Studds. But there is wind noise above 70km/H.Originally posted by AmitRavi07 View PostLooks good. Do post your impressions after using it. Also some pics of the inside please.

Re: Helmets
Divya Yes Bro it is Shifter D2... sorry for the typo error...
My initial experience: It has sufficient wind noise post 70-80kmph. Though lot better than other helmets but since I also use LS2 (FF 351) it didn't impress me much that way. Compared to other Studds helmets like Ninja or Downtown I find it better. It is much better than them at higher speed. The wind noise post 70-80 kmph remains same till 100kmph. that's what I experienced today. The quality seemed to be little flimsy to me. But in almost all studds helmets I found the same thing. Since I got this 1 for city use only so in that terms first day ride was pretty good. Following are some pics:
This dual visor is really good and functional.b SANE to b insane!
