You are right bro,but if a product is abused then the consumables(cheek pads in this case) would give away within a month also, but if proper care was taken 3-4months is way too early for padding of any helmet to give way, even a local Vega or Studds helmet padding lasts for 6 months min with being abused heavily,

yes i understand that but i did not use it much and i do take care of my stuff. I own a bike which is 18 months old and only 9684 kms on odo. you can understand that in last 5-6 months how much i can use my helmet. Yes even studds and Vega paddings will last more then 6 months. I must say that i want my MT helmet to last long because i believe its a good helmet and i kind of like it very much as its my birthday gift.

Guys from Pune, I need your help.

I was looking for Helmets on eBay and found the seller called, The Riders Den. (Shop 5, Silver Plaza, Fatima Nagar, Pune, Maharashtra.)

They're offering LS2 helmets at a good price. I want to know how genuine their products are. If I decide to buy, then it would be my first ever online purchase so I want to make sure of the legitimacy of the seller before throwing money away.

PLEASE RESPOND ASAP IF YOU KNOW THIS SELLER AND CAN VOUCH FOR THEIR GENUINENESS. I urgently need to buy a helmet. I ride a P200Ns, and this Studds Ninja Pastel just ain't cutting it anymore.

                Mark,
Not sure about rider's den but lakshmi automobiles are the authorised dealer of ls2 .
Try not to buy helmets online because of fitting issue and many other. This was the most useful advice I got from seniors of this forum which helped me a lot.
Also suggest you to check MT helmets , I myself own a blade its simply awesome .

                  Hello Guys,
I have one question, I have recently purchased 'MT Revenge GP' helmet, which is simply awesome. I like it very much other than one thing ' It has ratchet lock system on chin strap'. Actually I was looking for Double D- Ring lock system and I have SOL SF-1 in my mind but somehow I fell in love with MT Revenge, for which I am not regreting but is it possible to change ratchet hook to Double D- Ring one ??? If possible where can I get it done in Mumbai. I tried no google it but cant find anything other that diffrence between both andI have no idea about this, so please clarify...
                  Regards,

I would advice you not to mess with the strapping system. Double-D Rings are amazingly effective but if you have a ratchet system stick to it. For further buys remember to emphasise on the systems and then the look of the helmet or its cultural value. Safety first

All MT helmets including the Blade and the Revenge are available with EU ratchet or D-Ring. The EU ratchet versions were imported initially because of customer preference. The Blade is now also available with D Ring.

It it is not advisable to convert the fastener by yourself aftermarket.

SPG is about to launch two more models from MT, the high-end Matrix with an all fibreglass construction and the Optimus modular/flip-up. Look out for the announcements.
