I hope they replace it free of cost , in any case you have to bear the courier charges if they want it to sent back.

Just in case they dont, the address to the registered person of this website is in Belgaum. Ask someone to get it done by visiting them.
Not really, of the last around a decade of my Online shopping, I may have come across about 2-3 bad/poor online shops, out of say a 100. Which I think is not a bad ratio! With Vega I expected it to be good because its a company owned store, typically they are good, except a few like Monte Carlo, etc.

The reason for this online purchase was the un-availability of quality stuff locally/ofline. Ofcourse theres no alternative of physically trying a product before buying.

Im ok even if I have to send it on myself. The damage though would be 1500/-, which can be covered if Im able to procure the visor accessory. Only a lock is broken. For the other product, its only a size issue, so I can still sell it off.

Yes have a few contacts in & around Belgaum, will take their help if nothing else works. But Im not going to let this pass off lightly, have dealt with many a stubborn sites in the past & made them tread the right path. With Vega, they may run for a while but certainly cant hide & Im going to try all means to smoke them out!

Well, there is nothing like a 'fake' LS2.
What we get here is China made shells that may or may not conform to the certifications/standards printed on the helmet.
        Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

              • OT : Post may be deleted if mods feels so.

For quite some time I have been noticing members posting queries of "What Helmet in xyz range?"
I have no issues in them asking for this, but have ever tried searching the thread. Most of the time, or rather 90% of the times the same question has been answered in the last 10pages of the thread.
This might not be an issue to them, but for us answering same questions again and again does question our patience.
I cant comment for everyone but being here on this forum for ages, it IS actually monotonous answering same questions again and again. Whats wrong in investing just few more minutes and search it?

If searching doesn't help, Google can be of best help with some to the point keywords will definitely help.

This post is not aimed towards any particular member but has been written in general.

I think it's time to create sub forum under helmets , like under 3k, under 5k, 10k, and exotics. Moderators plz comment.

all the threads were merged some time back so that people have all the info in a single thread.. if everybody is expecting to be spoon fed with a direct answer and they dont get it then its not the members fault.. like it was pointed out most of the queries are repetitive and most likely have been asked and spoon fed a few pages back.. just read a few pages.. who knows maybe one can find a better alternative also.. No offense to anyone intended..
                    Cheers

MT Blade is polycarbonate shell and light weight. I've recently picked up the Blade Boss white/red graphics and the wind noise is much lower the SOL. It weighs around 1.5kgs but feels like 1.4kgs. I've picked up the model with internal sun visor but I'll suggest to get the one without sun visor. It's 500 rs cheaper and the no compromise on shell/padding thickness to accommodate sun visor. Visit their FB page for more info. Hope it helps.

MT Kranos costs 3.3K and better in quality than the latest LS2. Doesn't come with Sun visor but comes with quality and weighs only 1.35+/-1.45kgs

Thanks for the reply for such an old query!!
From what I read around some other internet forums, is that FiberGlass helmets are far more superior that their polycarbonate counterparts, but cost a lot too.

When queried a helmet shop here in Pune camp area for HJC helmets, he was adamant that MT Blade(Apparently Polycarbonate made) is far more superior that the cheap(10K - 20K) HJCs (Some of which are fibreglass made) and said all HJCs except their RPHA range are useless plastic helmets.
He was advertising the MT brand so much as if he is their brand ambassador!!

I'm comparing here MT Blade with the HJC CL 17 head to head , excluding their graphics and price.

^^, Can you suggest good helmet for city runabouts on scooty, the main criteria is it should fit in the underseat storage, and second is safety/quality and last but not the least it should be a full face lid.
Pricing range should be in the first bracket. I have a sparx for my bike duties. This will be just a city runabout helmet.
Edit: The helmet query is for TVS Jupiter

If I know right only suzuki swish came with the biggest storage. Helmets in that range are lil bigger, do try vega corah or formula hp, they are little smaller than others.
