Great piece. It got delivered from a renowned dealer in Madras. I called the dealer to check if there were colours other than matte black. He sent me pics of LS2 black warriors, blue, carbon helmets via whatsapp as these weren't available on paytm. I selected the black warrior & the exchange was done within an hour offline smooth without even having to go through paytm.
But, both the helmets were bloody good. Can't get it for under 7k anywhere. 5250 is a steal.

I have sol metal man since last 5 years, now i am thinking of buying new one but don't know how to dispose of my old sol helmet? Don't have space to store old helmet, kindly suggest what can be done?

Also kindly suggest me new one, looking for light weight, budget 5000 max and in mumbai.

Just sell it on olx or give it some one . Although I would suggest to keep it with you [emoji4] [emoji4] , it's been protecting you for 5years .

Well there are two good options -

1 MT OPTIMUS Solid Nero or the OPTIMUS Quest both are Modular Flip Up with dual certification ECE R22.05 and DOT helmet (price 5300)

2 MT AXXIS range . They are also ECE R22.05 and DOT certified helmets (price 4150)

I am very new here !
Plz plz plz suggest some entry level full mask helmets within 4k.

Got my Black Gixxer few days back !

My head measurement is 56,57 or 58 as measurement charts in flipkart, amazone etc.

My budget is around 4000/- (below it will be very good &#128523

Every type of suggestions will be very helpful!!


Ohh!! Forgot to mention that I am from Dibrugarh, Assam . So please provide 2-3 suggestions as availability is also an issue

Hi bro
Try SPG KRANOS which comes at ₹3350 . And its being manufactured by same MT helmets for SPG. Comes with all the safety standards like that of MT series.

though kranos helmets range is not updated in www.spartanprogear.com . Check their Facebook page for details.

First, get your head measurements precise. i think you try the Spartan Kronos Range or the MT Axiis Range (Rs 4150) (SPG Website)size "M".

Other Options include AXR Helmets (3980 Rs) Buy AXR 806 Shaft Black/Red Matte • Prostreet Motorcycle Gear but they tend to come in Size L & Above. THH Helmets (DOT) for Rs 3200 or the obvious LS2 range.

Ls2 is available in Guwahati but I doubt its authenticity!!

I have read few pages on this thread. Now, I would like to have suggestions from current owners of whatever helmet they are using.

Only 3 questions :

1. I want a helmet with mininal wind noise @ speeds of 90-110kmph.

2. It should be safe to protect my skull. Budget is between 5-7K to be very honest. I can stretch if the helmet is value for money.

3. It should be able to accomodate a action camera along with scala bluetooth as I plan to purchase these all in the coming months.

Only full face and no non-nense helmet.

I am going to make this purchase in coming month or in October for sure.

My personal suggestion is don't go for kyt helmets . That doesn't mean they are poor quality but the real issue is you won't get replacement accessories such as helmet liners and cheek pads..
And for RC7 PRO VENT model is no longer in production. I think KYT introduced it in Indian market to clear out old stock.

I'm using a mercurial coating for my Mt axxis and it's from cross helmets. The sales guy told me it would be a correct fit and he was right. It cost me Rs. 700
