Say hello to my latest MT :3 I think I'm the first one to get a blade :P

Initial impressions, THE PADDING IS AMAZING. Feels super soft and covers all parts of my face and head, super snug yet not constricting. LEAPS AND BOUNDS AHEAD OF THE AXXIS BRAKING I have.

Clear visor boon to night rides, havent tested the flippy sunglass thing yet.

Wind noise,
Upto 110 I didn't hear anyting at all, like maybe a whistle here and there, but a significant leap over the other MT and my LS2 celtic (dont even compare really :P ) post 120 I heard the wind sounds.

Stability is fantastic, I pushed to around 140 and head stayed in the same place :thumbup:

Ventilation. Chennai Heat. Not even a drop of sweat. Not even a drop.

Overall. Best money I've spent. Honestly. Blindly go for it.

Only down side is it has a ratchet lock and no D ring :/

Heyy Danny, what's the difference between mt blade and the mt revenge gp? Revenge gets sharp's 5star rating but blade has no mention. And blade is priced higher than the revenge.!! Please help.. thanks in advance..!

This would be a question best suited for Sunny Uncle, but from what I've seen its a totally different body shell and graphics combo and no internal visor or GPS function/NFC.

The only shop in Delhi that stocks SOL is Meandering India, and its located very close to Gurgaon, therefore don't think it would meet your criteria. Better buy it online.

Hey guys, first day of riding with the Blade SV ISLE OF MANN edition. Did around 150 kms, in and around Chennai and the ECR.

It rained as well.

Pro's :

The lid has really really good sound deadening which I experienced today after doing 60 kms up and down the ECR at 120+ for 90% of the ride with my RC FFE, and I was as calm and cool as I would've been with a stock exhaust.

Has perfect sized holes for speakers, I used apple earpods and they fit real well and no extra pressure was exerted on my ears :O.

Ventilation is still unmatched by anything I've worn so far.

THe high speed stability is brilliant. at 140 it doesnt jostle about at all.

Internal visor is really cool and makes the lid look even better xD, a pretty slight tint compared to my gold iridium I had on the AXXIS but does the job well.

Padding is like wearing a firm yet soft silk pillow from a 5 star hotel <3 so comfortable yet well protected and just in a league of its own.

In the rain. I rode for about 15kms in moderate rain being a hooligan and I got home took my helmet off and my body was soaked and my head was bone dry xD WIN!!!!

The NFC is working perfect I configured it. It works with any smart phone and sends distress messages with gps co-ordinates incase of a crash to a set few emergency contact numbers, just another reason MT I feel is superior to any other entry level DOT/ECE lid out there.

Cons :

The damn thing is scratching itself near the visor and helmet where it touches. Will put clear tape to stop it.

Litterally the only problem with it :O :P

Update.

The chin guard doesn't cut wind down at all :/ will be tweaking it at a tailors shop.

Now from the two shortlisted brands, go with MT. In MT, you have Axxis for rs. 4k and Blade/Revenge for rs. 5.5K.

Also in this price range, you can buy SOL helmets which are now retailed by Zeus-gears.

As in kerala there is no Zeus-gears authorized dealer...
But the happy part is there is a Spg dealer in Trivandrum...I will check it out soon.

I am wanting to get a HJC helmet tomorrow morning. So, I chose this helmet because its a good helmet around 10k range and which is allowed on track(near future plans) too. Any suggestions regarding different helmets which is around my budget and which is allowed on tracks.

Not actually below 10k because I have Lorezo edition of HJC and Rossi edition of AGV in my mind which are around 16000 bucks and I am comfortable with the price!
