Re: Helmets
Can you suggest if they holdup well at hiher than normal speeds > 80kmph. Its a pretty cool mod :-)Originally posted by spiderweb View PostApart from the main point, these things are CE FC & RoHS compliant, makes them quality product. Both brands provide 1 year parts replacement warranty. Both brands have done good amount of R&D and developed their own systems, so lets give them some credit! Afterall 'QUALITY' is something and it comes at a price.
OT Chinese/Aliexpress has some great quality stuff I use :-)Originally posted by spiderweb View PostAfterall 'QUALITY' is something and it comes at a price.
To buy a chinese wire or any copy of anything, just visit aliexpress.com

Re: Helmets
The internal sun visor on my MT Blade is loose after 4 months of use, it comes down when i hit bumps/potholes and i have to push it back in, really irritating and potentially unsafe during night or early morning rides. Any fix? I currently use tape to hold it in place when i go for rides in the morning.Never ride faster than your guardian angel can fly.

Re: Helmets
I am not saying chinese stuff is bad, all I am saying is that this is a mod to something that protects your life, so be careful! Re: Helmets
anyone using 'Studds Down town full face helmet'?
if so can you please tell me how much it weighs.
I have vega eclipse - which is not a snug fit - not comfortable and wobbles, which i gave to my dad - fits him perfect!
MT Axxiss Geo -3 - Superb helmet - but in city its pain in the neck - weighs around 1450 -1500 gms small size
I am planning to buy a Studds downtown helmet, please advice, reason is i loved the modular design, flip out style , cool looks.
so someone please provide me with the weight and sizes available ( checked the studds site its says starts from M)
thank you.Last edited by vedavyasa86; 01-28-2016, 11:19 AM.

Re: Helmets
I have been using a 2-year-old LS2 helmet as well as a 5-year old Shoei X-eleven Tamada helmet (gifted by my cousin), both are L size, the problem is both tend to give me immense pain on the right side of the head and the pain starts to radiate down towards the jaw, it is more prominent in the Shoei, which even for today is a snug fit and looks brand new, but anything more than half an hour wearing the Shoei and may be an hour of LS2 starts the pain as described and I have to stop riding and have to remove the helmet and immediately the pain subsides and because of this I cannot enjoy long rides without the pain that I have to endure every single time. Guys, can you please help me out here, I think it might do with the size too, but I am skeptical here of going to an XL size and later on the helmet becoming loose fit.
