THH helmets are good to use. Good comfort levels

Just one design flaw in the dual visor helmets, the inner visor gets scratches after being flipped up and down with regular use.

      Hi xBHPians,

I am new to xBHP. Thanks to moderators for adding me.

I bought an MT arrowtip gloss helmet recently and is a massive upgrade for my previous Vega Boolean flip up helmet. I thought sharing some information about the helmet will help some.
The flip up section of my older helmet became loose after prolonged use. Then the number of drops from my hand and a minor accident made the helmet even worse. I am also planning to buy a new bike very soon. So considering both the situations I decided to buy a better helmet and set my budget to RS.5500-6000. LS2 and THH were the only helmets in my mind. I did an online research, spoke with some experienced people and that is how MT came into the list. After I could get hands on one of my friends MT helmet I felt the difference in quality with other helmets of similar price bracket. Then the list got narrowed down to just MT. After reading the specs and reviews of all the listed MT helmets in the website and keeping the budget in my mind I finally chose MT arrowtip gloss helmet (Black and Orange). I must say that the helmet looks awesome. The shell seems to be little large but the fit is perfect. This budget friendly helmet is equipped with almost all the specs you need. DOT/ECE certified, SHARP 5 star rated, air vents, embedded speaker pockets( for bluetooth intercoms), Pinlock ready visor, race-spec double D-ring buckle system, aerodynamic design, adjustable air vents.. etc are the best features I found it having advantage over LS2 and THH helmets.

I have seen some reviews that it makes some whistling sound while riding. Yes, it does. But only if the visor is kept opened. When the visor is closed the noise suppression is really good. Really good means I couldn't figure out the speed in which I was riding and the wind blast is very low.

Helmet is extremely snug fit that doesn't move a mm even at 100kph. I must say it was uncomfortable for a couple of days and now it feels perfect.
I am even more happy about my decision when I saw the poll result! yaay..

I have seen that some of the revenge series comes with an NFC tag. But I couldn't detect it using smartphone app. Does it really has one?

EDIT : I contacted the seller and they said NFC tag was there in old revenge series. Now it comes without NFC.

Here are some pictures of the helmet.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
              The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

              THE END

Yes I'm using it from 1 week now.Its value for money product.Just has one drawback the external shell size is same for all the sizes ie.small, medium or large.Internal cushion changes as per size.

Yes, from the looks description and reviews it has only a single sized with with varying degrees of padding. I personally think compact helmet is much stronger than a bigger shell (not that bigger shells are weak in any way). One advantage of a having smaller shell is most heads are a medium to large size which is a boon when it comes to getting that snug fit. Drawback is padding, padding gets thin over time, after repeated wear and tear, if padding is as easily available as the helmet themselves, should serve the purpose really well. Do, keep your long term reviews posted in here.

Its a good helmet, but what will define a good value will be price.
How much are you getting it for?

In my humble opinion, its not a 34K worth helmet. It is available mostly on Deals in US around 200-250$ mark.
I have a Bell Vortex, and the RS-1 is a level above the vortex. I got the vortex from US for 100$.

If you really want this helmet, wait for discounts at High Note. I know a person who has bought RS-1 from high note at around 20K.
You can get some seriously good lids in 34K.
