Is studds rhyno (red colour with the devil ) available in chennai . tried the line of shops opp 1000 lights, but got answers from no such brand exists to studds factory is closed.

they not stopped manufacturing only reduced m.r.p & changed graphic but in future i think u will face with visor fitting problems so go for bravo graphic or vega formula hp with motocraft graphic

n ya there is a inner visor for day use.. n u can remove it ...

Which shop did you get it from ?
did you have to bargain or anything ?

Also, is vegahelmet.com the same company that makes boolean etc ?? because the site has much better helmets

Hey guys I have a choice between a MPA helmet and a Aaron flip helmet with many vents and stuff, both have removable fabric but the Aaron one is cheaper and has some more vents.I like the MPA because of its name also though as it is more trusted, never heard of Aaron... what do you guys say?

there are many xbhpian who are using an aaron lid......
even i never heard this brand .... but its a brand google it and find it yourself.....
i was also using aaron lid [see my album] one month back .... but it didnt gave me a good feel so i got a vega for myself....but at the time i was using i did some radium work on that ... and got rid of that aaron name

because everyone used to say that its not a branded one [another major reason me going for a vega]
choose wisely ...

STUDDS Helmets

Guys, I have sent an email to Studds and was pleasantly surprised with a prompt reply from the Chairman. Some useful information exchanged there - Should clear some points to us. Their response in RED.

From the various interactions we have online and at our regular get-to-together meets, we have realized that Studds Rhyno is among the best value for money helmet. However, there have been some concerns that are going unanswered and hence I have decided to email you guys.

1) Earlier the Rhyno used to be for Rs 1699 and used to come in Red and Blue colours - available through Castrol Bike Zones - YES, YOU ARE RIGHT.
2) Now we seem to get them outside too but the availability is very very limited either outside or in Castrol Bike Zones. - WE WERE IN THE PROCESS OF CONSOLIDATING OUR MANUFACTURING ACTIVITIES TO ONE LOCATION (EARLIER THERE WERE FOUR LOCATIONS) & IN THE PROCESS, THE SUPPLY POSITION OF SOME OF THE MODELS GOT AFFECTED.
3) Since a few months our members at various parts of the country have bought Studds Rhyno Devil (Red & White colours) for Rs 1199. Availability of these too is a problem though.-
4) The question here is
a) What is the difference between the older models (Rs 1699 one) and the newer models (Rs 1199 one) - RHYNO PRICED AT RS. 1699 HAS FIBREGLASS OUTER SHELL WHEREAS THE NEWLY INTRODUCED RHYNO AT RS. 1199 HAS INJECTED ABS OUTER SHELL.
b) Where can we get them in Hyderabad? Please give the address & phone number. We have searched numerous shops in the city in vain. Some shopkeepers even said that Studds is not supplying helmets anymore!!! - WE SHALL BE MAKING AVAILABLE THE RHYNO HELMETS IN HYDERABAD WITHIN THE NEXT THREE WEEKS WHEN YOU WILL BE SUITABLY INFORMED BY US REGARDING THE DEALER'S NAME.
c) Though the Rhyno helmets come with easy replacable visors, finding a spare one is proving to be a difficult task. How can you help us tackle this problem? We buy helmets based on the merits & availability of Visors too. Most of us need a visor replacement once in 2-3 months. THE VISORS SHALL ALSO BE AVAILABLE WITH THE SAME DEALER.
d) Are you guys serious about the Rhyno helmets or is it just a marketing trial? If yes, may be we better look at something like a Bravo. - DURING LAST COUPLE OF MONTHS, WE MADE SEVERAL IMPROVEMENTS IN THE VENTILATION SYSTEM & INSIDE LINERS IN OUR RHYNO MODEL WHICH ONLY PROVES OUR SERIOUSNESS TO PURSUE THE SAID MODEL ON MASS PRODUCTION BASIS.

We are looking at Studds helmets for City use. For highways we use better helmets that Studds doesn't offer. That is because we want better protection for our heads than what is probably a marketing & profit making feasibility to your company. - WE LAUNCHED A NEW MODEL NINJA 3G WHICH IS STATE OF THE ART PRODUCT IN THE LIFT UP RANGE & OFFERS EXCELLENT PROTECTION AT HIGH SPEEDS. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED IMAGE OF THIS MODEL. THIS MODEL ALSO MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE IN MANY OF THE SHOPS BUT WE WILL ENSURE THAT NEXT TIME WHEN YOU VISIT THE SPECIFIED DEALER FOR YOUR RHYNO REQUIREMENT, NINJA 3G WILL ALSO BE AVAILABLE AT THIS DEALERSHIP.

Good initiative there HydBiker, I feel you should have attached a pic of the high end Vega&asked them when they will get a model of that kind. We are ready to pay for it.
What they say about the Ninja 2G/3G is right, I have tested mine upto 140kmph (speedo) on NH7, it did not shake or blur vision, but the whistling was there of course.

I don know about aaron.But MPA is very good brand.

I have been using Aaron for almost 2 years. Doing job very well. Its cheaper than its competition and felt them as good as other. But they dont have huge range as MPA or VEGA.

i feel comfortable, with paddin.. its one year old, looks new, apart from the scratches on the visor..
its with red and white graphics.. my friends were advising me ta buy a new one,
as it was lookin odd on me and my machine..
I want to buy a new lid, for long rides..
my budget is around 2.5k.. can convince my dad to 3k-3.5k..
which brand is suggestive within that range??
and which color helmet do you guys suggest for black P220 DTS-I..
i want a helmet with graphics on it (and NO, to heavy-funky graphics)..
and where can i get those helmets in hyderabad-secunderabad..
I came across all the posts, found that agv, bhp, vega, kbc, gpr, daijya .. .. .. are the best..
where in hyderabad-secunderabad i can find these brand outlets..
and please tell me the cost of each brand..

last but not the least, were can i find/buy balaclava in hyderabad-secunderabad??

try the shops in abids and the one opp to shell bunk in raj bhavan road for vega..
try seeing satish anna's helmet it was awesome i liked it...
