ya it is,....I have a Vega boolean,..satisfied with it,.. u have many other models in it too,... Its reliable,...weight usually averages around 1000gms

Hi Guys can someone list the areas where we can get good helmets in Mumbai.

I have checked out bandra and Grant Road. I am kind of looking for a Green helmet to go with my bullet color. I have tried searching on google, sulekha etc. but the links go to very random websites

I need to Know the areas fast as I need a lid by this week

Ninja 2G/3G/the larger 600mm.Vega Boolean, all fit your requirements perfectly.
The Ninjas are priced at Rs.1200-1300&the Boolean is around Rs.1800-2000, depending on color preference.

in jaipur go to Ajmeri gate, on the left side one lane before indira bazaar there are a few helmet and auto accessories shop.there you will find cross and MPA AGV brands. MPA AGV will cost 1600 for plain to 2.5k for the graphics one. cross starts somewhere near 2.5k to >3k. you need to bargain a lot .
the 2nd place in jaipur is
HELMET SHOPPE (dealers of cross and studds helmets)

they have a huge collection of helmets, they have a FIXED price.bargaining will yield no results.

there's one shop just opposite chopra on the otherside of the road which sells bieffe and GP1 helmets.

and there's one more shop called MAHALAKSHMI on the same side of chopra towards the right just after a crossing. i have heard not so good things about this shop but still if you want you can visit this one.

good quality helmets within 3.5k , AGV MPA, Cross and GP1. vega is also good, studds has come up with some good models as well.

a suggestion from my side

if you are looking for helmets below 3.5k stick to AGV MPA or cross, they are good helmets with easy availability of spares. best thing to do is to call up HELMET SHOPPE in jaipur and then CHOPRA delhi and ask about the price of cross and AGV Helmets(indian make) and compare. or visit helmet shoppe select a helmet and get the model no, then call up CHOPRA and ask for a quote ,compare and then go to ajmeri gate and see if you can get the helmet below the lowest quoted price.if you can get it from delhi at a significantly lower price then only get it from Delhi.you dont want to carry a helmet from delhi which costs only Rs100 more in jaipur than what you had paid in Delhi.


if you are looking for imported or high end helmets, then search in Delhi. hope you got my point.

Hey Thanx a lot buddy for the info? Well are u talking of the small gate on the left of ajmeri gate in which there are no. of shops. Will go and find out helmets that i want on the shops u specified and thanx once again.

Boolean is good in that price range.
The new Ninja2G/3G have better flip-up mechanism than the 1st Gen Ninja. I have put a review with pics of the Ninja 2G when I bought it, please use the Search feature to locate that post.
In fixed full face in your budget I would suggest Studds Rhyno, it is now available at Rs.1150 or so, Jonak from Kolkata has bought it, everything is available there also!
