iam looking to buy a cross or an LS2. iam concerned with the ventilation part. it would be great if you guys give your input on the ventilation levels of these 2 helmets. iam using a MPA AGV and ventilation on this helmet is pretty nonexistent.so iam planning to use MPA AGV during the night and for daytime rides i am thinking of using either the cross or LS2 or may be the Vega shadow if the ventilation is good.
so guys pls post your reviews of the cross , LS2 and Vega shadow helmets in terms of ventilation.

    thanks
    warm regards
    vivek

Ventilation of LS2 is OK, its just works a bit, cross helmets have better ventilation...

If you are buying it in India then don't pay anything above 7500. 7000 would be the ideal price.

                • I bought an LS2 a month or so back and it was a snug fit then. Now the pads have broken in really well and have compressed with the regular usage and the lid is pretty loose when I wear it without my skull cap. With my skull cap, the lid is pretty fine but still moves a bit.

Anything I can do to get that original fit and feel back? Maybe i need to wear a balaclava in addition to the skullcap.

same problem here with my MPA AGV also, its now over 1 year and it feels really loose, is it the problem of the padding or is there any other way... when i feel it really loose i put the helmet in the sun for almost 1 hour... after that it feels tight and soon after some days of usage it looses the tightness... any other solution guys???

+1. I am facing the same issue with my 3 months old LS2. The fit has become a bit loose. Used to be pretty silent with no wind noises. Now its not that good

                      • ^^Generally you can get cheek pads for helmets. I got a bigger one for my AGV as the original one was loose.

I am not sure about LS2, however a new cheek pad is what you guys need.

I tight helmet is the right helmet.

So a bigger cheek pad is available? is it from AGV itself?

Dude sparx is a great helmet i have heard..but one suggestion, if you can get an original basic AGV for that price then you could probably consider that as an option too. Because sparx is not an internationally known or renowned brand neither is KBC
