The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

Neat helmet! Sparx seems to be extremely popular in Xbhp!Originally posted by tibby View PostHere's my latest acquisition - A SparX S07 Lightning
Picked it from bikebandit.com for USD 61 (including shipping to NY)
My friend who was in NY for work brought it down here for me
I must say here that bikebandit is an awesome place to shop at online. They are very helpful with even a live chat feature available during working hours!
My helmet was delivered within 3 days of placing the order & making the payment

As per few blokes whom I spoke to prior to shopping between KBC & SparX (they were using KBC as OE due to contract) that SparX was a better VFM deal & I personally after looking at liners feel that SparX is better designed and padding is softer & better.Originally posted by bluevolt View PostNeat helmet! There was a Ben Spies HJC, but wasn't my size, darn

Thanks buddyOriginally posted by TijoJoy View Post@Tibby : Congrats man IT looks GOOD

Thanks!Originally posted by bluevolt View PostNeat helmet! Sparx seems to be extremely popular in Xbhp!
Hahahaha.. Right now LS2 rules here..
I had to decide between the SparX S07, HJC CL-16, & Scorpion Exo-400. These were the only good ones available in my budget of USD 125.
Finally settled for the SparX after deatiled discussions with n_aditya & Sarvajit. Thanks guys!
btw, an Arai/ Shoei was way out of budget for me, & will remain so atleast for the next 10 years..
I personally saw the KBC also, & felt it had better quality padding. The difference wasn't glaring, but could be felt.Originally posted by sheelpriye View PostAs per few blokes whom I spoke to prior to shopping between KBC & SparX (they were using KBC as OE due to contract) that SparX was a better VFM deal & I personally after looking at liners feel that SparX is better designed and padding is softer & better.

n_aditya was telling me that the SparX S07 fared better than KBC in crash test(s), hence I went ahead with SparX. Wasn't too convinced to pick a KBC as the brand didn't quite appeal to me.
You are one BIG Ben Spies fan huh! Sad that you didn't find your size.

Yeah it seems that SparX is the best VFM helmet out there..will be picking one up probably in the next few months.
isn't SparX a subsidiary of KBC?Originally posted by tibby View PostWasn't too convinced to pick a KBC as the brand didn't quite appeal to me.

Anyone who watched 2009 WSBK would be a fan for life. (title winner in rookie year)You are one BIG Ben Spies fan huh!
Anyone who watched 2010 Aragon last few laps would be a fan for life.
Anyone who watched the last race with him / Simoncelli /Dovizioso fighting would be a fan for life.
Till date NO one has managed to out-brake him.
^^Sorry, for going OT & the rant, but you hit a chord.

Ya, its one of the best helmets in its price range.Originally posted by RanjithMN View PostYeah it seems that SparX is the best VFM helmet out there..will be picking one up probably in the next few months.

It is. I belive KBC had a lot of spare production capacity, hence starting manufacturing this new brand (SparX) of lower priced helmets (compaerd to KBC). Its one of the highest selling helmet brands.

Why don't you buy one then?Originally posted by TijoJoy View Post@Tibby : Congrats man IT looks GOOD

Helmet-less pics aren't allowed here I guess.. Please take care of 'both' from next time..
@Topic
Planning to buy the LS2 dragon(white) as it will be in sync with my white-RTR..
But prices quoted here are too much compared to that in south..A vendor yesterday quoted a price tag of 3.5K for the Shadow..I get the feeling of being 'looted' if I buy this...Any online shop from where I can get this for a reasonable price..If you ride like there's no tomorrow...worry not there won't be!
