I couldnt find the link for the Cross website on google...anyway, what is your opinion of the Vega Corah series and the Studds full face collection? Both are in my budget.

Please suggest a full-face helmet within Rs 1500/-. I've heard Vega is good, can anyone please give me a bit more info?

did you look at the studds rhyno full face ? its within 1400 rs and value for money .

hey guys atlast purchased 2helmets for myself just couldnt resist n overshot my budget quite a bit(infact 2 times but couldnt resist)......

Got the foll 2 helmets:
LS2 Phobia Black n Red with tinted Visor-------2900/-----(For those long rides)
CROSS Hunk (Compound Helmet) with tinted Visors------3100/- (for city commute since i wear glasses)

wanted to go for NUVO since the price is too gud n the graphics r awesome..... but the mumbai dealer of DSG doesn't keep stock of helmets n he could place one on order..... but it was risky to place an order before trying one which fits best for me..... hence went for these.... pretty happy... hehehehehe....

Picked a helmet a few days ago. Priced Rs.3800 at Helmet Paradise. pretty comfortable. Needs allen keys to take the visor off. The flip up action is pretty smooth and the lock mechanism seems quite secure. Picked up a spare visor as well. The helmet seems to to be of good quality and weighs 1450 gms. I was used to that weight as my older AGV also almost the weighed the same.

You put the 'Shoei' sticker? is so why? Its like putting a Ferrari sticker in a Maruti 800. Its a nice helmet. Don't spoil it.

Good for you. You never know, you might end up featuring in the "Funny Biking Pictures!" thread . I too use reflective tapes on my helmet, though they are just simple strips.

yes, and i also saw the Studds Bravo. The Rhyno has a bit too flashy graphics for my taste.

So now its narrowed down to the Vega Corah, Studds Bravo (Rs 995) or the Studds Rhyno (Rs 1295). I'm still confused which one to go for!

Those Cross helmets are definitely a step up from your current shortlist and should serve you better in case you have a fall. I will never tire of saying this - There is no replacement for a good helmet.

And go for a full face helmet. Half face / flip ones will do nothing for your jaw / face if you have a fall.

Get a SparX lid. Costs around the same. Hound and nag your friend so he/she carries it down with him/her.

Going to get the helmet today.

Check the usual places on JC Road - Helmet Paradise, Balaji etc: Remember dealers are trying to push existing stock so dont be afraid to bargain hard and get a good deal.

Ya will surely keep this in mind.

I picked LS2 Diamond a month ago for 2300/- The pics are there in few pages behind in the same thread.Helmet paradise opp Urvashi thtr is where i got this one

Will check at this store in the beginning only.

Try getting it ASAP,cause only the current lot is priced @ 2.5k,it might go back to 3.5k for the next lot!
