Good for you. And don't forget to post a detailed review sometime later on.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Don't know about the A* but I had asked someone to search for the Stryker vest for me and it was not available at any of the local stores there.

Finally ended up ordering from revzilla along with some other stuff. Had a shipping coupon and hence costs turned out to be cheaper than getting it here

If you read the posts where the member said he got it for Rs.1500/-, you will see that he clearly also mentioned that the Phaeton II is priced at Rs.2100/-, while the older model Phaeton (now discontinued) is being sold at a discounted rate of Rs.1500/- ONLY at the SPG store in Chennai, till stocks last.

After buying SPG icarus I am planning to buy gloves and a riding pant. Budget is 9000/- max (both included). These are going to be my first set of riding gears. So which gloves and pant should I go for.

Got the SPG balaclava delivered 2 days back, the quality is very good and the fit is excellent. I also enquired about the Phaeton golves, they are out of stock. Next gear is the Jacket, bit light on the budget front so probably will buy it next month. Helios currently priority, but if budget doesn't permit then might go for Icarus. (hope it will be good alternative)

If you're happy with Spartan why not stick with Spartan for both riding pant and gloves. I think you'd get ODYSSEUES and the ADONIS, I think you'd get a good deal if you purchase the glove and the pant and get it rounded if possible. If you're looking for other options, will gladly help you, but consider this.

                          Cheers!

Thanks for reply. I have no idea about these or any riding pants. But I have read here that rjays all season riding pants are good. And I would for sure prefer something which is suitable for all weather.

And regarding gloves I have read good reviews about dsg primal, spg ares, pegasus and centaur. But still I am unable decide one. How are cramster trg2 compared to these. And what would be the best bet below/around 3000/-?

Cramster TR2G is a good full gauntlet glove, and so are DSG Primal. These are entry level full gauntlet gloves but if you are more inclined for a short gauntlet, you can try the RYNOX KOMBAT, Spartan Pegasus.

Regarding riding pants, you can consider RJays All Seasons, Cramster Velocity, Spartan Odysseus, black avlbl apart from the camo, all these are good pants.

If you're looking for a good full gauntlet glove, you can consider the Spartan Centaur newly launched and at 2950 it's a pretty compelling glove. For more info you can contact spartan folks through email or phone.

                              Cheers!

^^ thanks. I will read more reviews of owners and then decide. I have heard about primal that they leave marks of dye on hands in rain or on sweating how does SPGs fare in this regard.

Can someone give a brief comparison of above mentioned gloves and pants.
