Tell me how good is the inner liner of RJays during winters/ Rains? Is it 100% waterproof as claimed by the company? & does it offer any protection in winters?
    Thanks
    Nitin
RJays liners are pretty good, Nitin. And mind you, no jacket is 100% waterproof, it can be water resistant, but not waterproof, just want to make that point clear.

Yes, the lining in the Octane does its job pretty good and I myself have ridden in pretty good downpour and the liner has kept me bone-dry. During winters, yes it keeps most of the cold wind factor down and offers pretty good warmth too. If you want a little more warmth in WINTERS, just wear a thin full sleeve cotton or woolen garments, and then the jacket over, it's complete bliss with this one.

Don't even try the same in summers

All in all, it's a pretty good jacket. I would say go for it.

Again, go for what suits and based upon your need.

    Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

    • New Gear Added to my List: Am Spartanized

Being a Tourer, I have been using the Riding gears for some years now for my touring and daily commuting. Slowly one by one i have collected a decent riding gear set and newest addition to it the Spartan's HeliosJacket Type: Mesh with Cordura enforcements at the impact areas like Elbows, Shoulders and Back.
Weight: Feels light when you wear it - not like the other jackets which were quite heavy comparatively even though being the mesh.
Armours: CE certified Armours similar to that of what we find in the top brands by A*'s

      Jacket Features:

Now the important thing for us the Price: Rs. 5500/-

Spartan full Gauntlet Gloves: - Rs. 2500/-

Beware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!
More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !

Before giving the review, would say that I have used Cramster Breezer 2.0, Planet DSG - Nero, A* T-stunt-II (picked it up in from US).
In all the jackets I have used something or the other was missing. Everyone would like to have good quality product within an affordable price and when the product has been produced with keeping the biker's instincts - then that would be The Jacket for a Biker. That’s what I found in Spartan' HELIOS. I have ridden with the jacket in the hot afternoon in Chennai and can vouch on the airflow this mesh jacket provides without compromising on the safety within my spending limit

                Jacket Features:
                • Regular Mesh jacket comes with a Easy removable, breathable rain liner (which in-turn can be used as an Windsheeter separately)
                • On the right there is Separate Waterproof pocket (with waterproof yzk zipper) on the top of the jacket for Mobile/MP3 with a Headphone socket
                • On Top left - you have a Microfiber kind pocket for our glasses which we doesn't want to get scratched
                • 2 Regular pockets near the waists
                • Adjustable Velcro bands at Elbow and Waist
                • 3M reflective piping all across the jacket which makes you looks like one from the movie Tron :-)
                • Loops to hang your keys inside the jacket to make things easier

Now the important thing for us the Price: Rs. 5500/-

Spartan full Gauntlet Gloves: - Rs. 2500/-

As the name goes, it’s a full leather gauntlet gloves with good protection on knuckles, reinforced palms for abrasion resistant, flexi-fit fingers for a good comfort and a dual Velcro wrist closure to ensure gloves stay in place. Broke-in easily on my first ride itself and the out-switch fingers gives the fingers more relaxed room.

                Windcheater I suppose!

That's some excellent gadgetry mate. Sure is gonna change the "affordable gear" segment in xBhp.

The only gripe, is has too much reflective striping! Boon or bane?

Three questions please, wonder, will they make a leather jacket and a pant based on our requirements? And can they be contacted them through their e-mail ID which you direct to for the same? And where are they manufactured BTW?

                Thanks!!

Pretty good value for money jacket, and the best jacket out there and gets the best bang for the the buck, than the DSG when it comes to so called "all climates" and a less compared to the same spec, Eclipse jacket.

It has two liners, one for the rain protection and another for winter, especially made for chilly winters. You can use both the liners depending on your need. If you are riding in a sunny climate, you can, remove both the liners and use the jacket alone for good ventilation.

If you sense there's a downpour or driving in a rainy situation (can withstand a good amount of rain, not a heavy downpour) you can use the rain liner. If you are driving in both rainy and winter conditions, you can use both the liners of the jacket for maximum comfort and safety.

And don't use both the liners when it's sunny, it's a indirect tense, of you getting "COOKED"

                Cheers!

Yep, they are a 100% desi brand and I've had a chat with them recently, and all their stuffs are Made in Pakistan. Though I can't comment much, as I've not used it, going through some comments, I see some good reviews.

                  Cheers!

Absolutely very nice company to deal with. My friend bought some stuffs here. Pretty nice to deal with too. But I would say, if you can find any Cramster dealer nearby your city so that you can can directly see what you like. Else, you can contact Cramster directly and get details on how to make a transaction, it's all in their site, do check it out.

                      Cheers!
