  • well i am pretty new to touring kinda thing. never experienced before.
want to tour on my scoot.
monsoon season is a good season to explore the rural parts in India : )
you see it's not just the biking but to experience the things that i can't enjoy in this concrete jungle.

don't know what you mean by me changing the definition of this thread but certainly i have my budget constraints.
so if there is any good riding gear that can help me in making the rides a bit comfortable kindly do let me know about it so that i can enjoy this season : )

Spartan ProGear has a technical collaboration with a production house based in California, USA - specializing in private label production. Under this contract, products are manufactured to the technical requirements and specifications of the client by the production house factories which could be located in any place. This is how most brands are manufactured in different parts of the world. Under the terms of this kind of production, the production house can use any of it's facilities depending on orders, factory production times and also processes that certain factories specialize in. Since it would be difficult to import various products directly from the factories located in different parts of the world, the production house consolidates shipments in distribution hubs around the world with Singapore and Dubai among them serving India. So the products arrive in India via these hubs.

That said, cartons containing apparel have arrived at the Chennai warehouse of the company with markings from Vietnam, Taiwan and the USA, while other products have arrived in cartons with markings from Pakistan, Portugal and China. Talk about globalization!

Incidentally Spartan ProGear has just finalised its first reseller in Colombo, Sri Lanka! Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia is now also on the cards.

And doesn't it have the tag on where it's made, it should have it right?

        Awating for the photos earliest.

        Cheers!

        Bro,

Sorry could not upload them yesterday.

Look whether the following pics serve the purpose. Also the only tag I saw on the jacket is 'How to take care' stuff but hope Sunny Sir explained where the jackets are from

Jacket with the zipper open .

Jacket and liner side by side

Jacket with the inner liner removed

Curious to know what you infer from the pics.

Between Sunny sir, I forgot to collect my bill when I bought the jacket. If you do see this, can I collect it today or tomorrow?

P.S The jacket comes with a one year warranty against any manufacturing defect.

        • I like the Helios. The protections are ECE approved, nice fitting(apparently)The back is sans any branding too, so a 'KTM' can be stickhed there But isn't it a bit too reflective all over? It might distract other riders on Indian roads surely at night.
I am kind of confused between the cramster breezer and the helios. Although all of my 'narrowing down' of options has been done while surfing this forum and not personally visiting the stores and trying the jackets

All the best sir. I am sure, you might have good reception in heading out to other countries. I still wonder why you not providing MADE IN ******* tag, just outta curiousity. Does it attract any duties, so forth?

ECE are only for helmets Doga. Almost all well known armored motorcycle jackets come with approved armor pads, which means they undergo certain standards in countries like EU and elsewhere. Go for HELIOS if you're in for summer and expect a modest rain/wind protection.

Cramster Breezer is kinda like all weather jacket, sun, wind, rain, you have two different liners based upon your need and bang for the buck too.

Hey, thanks, Chandru. That was crisp. I don't know why, but I wanted to see how the jacket is inside. Same as usual I guess. And thanks again for your pictures Chandru, really appreciate it.

And don't make any more delays in getting your bill, you might just need them when you thought the least about them.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                        The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

personal opinion : try the jackets before you decide. Btw, the Helios looks flashy on camera, it's not that flashy when you ride at nights It is decently bright when someone turns their headlights on you, thats the way i will put it
