I like the Cramster Flux and Twister models and both are closely priced (1500-1600). I am more inclined towards the Flux model as it features a better, fused design. Any riders here who have tested both?

Checked out both today, unimpressed. Not much of an improvement over my existing ProBiker ones. Looking for better options.

    Knee Guards

    Upgrade:
There are two obvious options here, Fox kneeguards and Cramster Bionic. Are the Fox ones good enough?

Bought the Cramster kneeguards today from Cramster Shoppe, Cunningham Road...they are comfortable, flexible and good, but somehow I am not impressed with the finish. Rough edges on the plastics were the biggest turn-off, and so was the fact that you have to "wear" it and it can't be strapped on entirely.

If you read thoughout this thread, for the price, you can't expect quality to drool, it's just a cheap, effective protection solution. Rather than going for fakes single handedly, spending something on okay-ish quality from a reputed Indian company is better off than spending on something not seen.

Same goes for gloves. Why don't you try Cramster TR2G or DSG Revive. Both are really good gloves, the former being full gauntlet and the latter being short cuffed, just from an affordable price point of view.

      Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

You definitely don't mean to say that Cramsters are fake? I am sure Cramster is a reputed brand when it comes to gear.

I did check out all the Cramster gloves and none of them seemed too good. Will be going to Orion some time this week to check out the DSG ones.

Thanks Guys actually alpinestars have more add on options like chest armour, back/spine protector, is it the same with RJAYS. But I see that A* is missing the water proof aspect.

                • You get CE certified armor on elbows and shoulders with the Octane. The back armor is just a foam pad. No options are available for upgrades.
But the A* comes with foam pad on the back - as well. You will have to pay extra for CE rated chest\back armor (If I remember right it was 7200 bucks for chest and back)..

Regarding the waterproofability, Octane has a removable liner - It works fine in decent rains.

But you can always wear a separate waterproof jacket\rain coat over the A* as well . I personally don't like carrying two jackets though.

                    • No. Rjay's doesn't come with Chest Protection & neither they have any option to add into it... A* Spine protector I doubt if it comes, I believe its same as Rjay's in back protection which comes with 3D Foam Padding...

And Chest protector of A* will not cost you less then 5k that would again make a A* basic jacket to 14-15k...I would recommend high/middle range A* or Joe Rocket jacket rather & spend few more bucks in making them more better & protective rather then taking Basic Jacket of any brand...

If you are looking for Formal Jacket which you can wear anywhere (While going Office or something which demands pro or decent look) go for HYPERION Spartan Pro Gear

Or If you are looking for jacket with more better textile & cloth then Rjays Jet Stream II should be ur choice which I am using everyday.

Nope, Cramster gear aren't fake, at least from reputed sellers. There is no point faking an already budget brand, but fakers will almost replicate anything that they can make good money on. But definitely they're a VFM budget Indian brand.

I've worn the T-GP Plus Air jacket and personally I loved the air flow. The only gripe about this one is that it chucks the rain liner as it's a pure-play air flow textile riding jacket. Now the RJays Octane too is a good jacket, bought, worn and sold because upgraded to a better one. Seen some good and bad times.

The RJays Octane offers good wind protection/decent ventilation with liner on. Without liner, the airflow is EXCELLENT. The fit of it was spot on, and I loved the "onlookers gaze" that this jacket offered, touch wood.

Now considering between RJays and A*, I'd suggest you to stick with Spartan, just for the goodies it offers at an excellent price point. Try the HYPERION or the ACHILLES or HELIOS all fully loaded with best goodies and at less than 8k. Before a while there were certain players with niche products that sell made good money selling okay-ish stuffs. Now the market has heated up with good demand and really good products at competitive prices.

                        I'd suggest go for Spartan.

                        Cheers!

I have tried RE half gauntlet gloves and short boots. Gloves are fantastic with additional padding at the typical impact areas. Overall finishing could have been better but overall a good product.

Short boots are the best - at 5.5k, an excellent proposition I would say. Just that since they cover almost half the shin, they are not very comfortable to use other than for riding. And are a bit bulky.
