I mean just look at him, don't be fooled by the bike he has and what he wears. It's purely his discretion on what comes to gears. But it's a shame to see this guy clad on such a cheap *bikini* see through. I can't get low anymore than this.

Err.. I think the guy in the picture is Dr. Arun Thareja, the founder of G.O.D.S (Groups of Delhi Superbikers).. I believe he has a close association with Sunny (Gajjar).

..not that I approve his sense of dressing as a biker but just thought of sharing the info.

Again payeng, let's drop it here, and you know why. And that's the reason I've posted my discretion, personally. I respect the biker for who he is and he may have his story for what he's wearing. But for me riding up is, *gearing up*. PERIOD.

          Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
          The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

          THE END

Definitely the gear has its use, but not on this machine, and not where that machine is intended to run. If you go back a few pages, all through this thread, a major chunk was discussed purely for the versatility of such bikinis. And yes you can wear a bikini on a beach not on a road spec motorcycle, just so that one knows the difference.

Now the difference between a bikini and a proper riding jacket has many advantages, first, you're skin is saved even though the stuff melts, but it saves some skin, and most of the times it saves a good amount. Consider you fall on this bikini, and it's a different story altogether. Yes one might say, air flow bla bla, *but* it's ultimately your skin, your protection that matters.

And regarding the above textile jacket, I don't know whether it has armors as such, because most off roading gear don't have any inbuilt armors, they are just suspended outside the body, if that's the case, then that's a FAIL too.

Kindly invest in a proper riding jacket. It saves your skin, it protects you from rain, wind, insects etc.

Talking of insects let me tell you an example. Imagine you wearing a riding jacket, with the liners on and you get a hornet that gets stuck in your jacket and the first thing the wasp would do is inflict stings, but wearing a good jacket will almost save you in those instances. But what happens when the same happens when you're in a see through bikini? The wasp gets stuck, it inflicts the sting, you suffer agonizing pain, swelling for weeks to come or even worse distract and have a crash. And no rain/wind protection whatsoever.

So bikini's are for girls. Riding jackets are for men.

            Cheers!

You can easily go for spartan Icarus, @ 4.3k this the best vfm jacket you can get with CE certified armour. Plus it can be upgraded to Knox armor for the back. You can also check out Zeus, that too is a vfm jacket with the kind of accessories it offers, though i can vouch for Icarus as I'm using it myself. It's comfortable and a no sense jacket and seeks minimum attention.
And if going for Icarus you save enough to buy a pair of good gloves too. At least that is what i did. Considering I'm a student with a budget constrain this was my best bet for protecting my limbs.

Need help in identifying the gear (the camo one) in this thread - http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/first-im...vs-gt650r.html

If that's the Rjays Octane Camo, then I'm getting one. Any idea about the pant?

If I'm not mistaken, the pants are from Draggin Jeans. Please do check though.

That is indeed the RJays Octane Camo version of the jacket that is being worn my Mr. Sunny Gajjar. And the pants, they are indeed matching Camo pants of which's origin I can't exactly zero in on. But I'd suffice you to invest in a good riding pant. As you can see, he's wearing the A* knee guards.

You have three options. RYNOX, VIATERRA and CRAMSTER.

For more information, check out their respective websites or check out VIATERRA in-depth on

                              RYNOX GEARS

The Duke has fiber tank if I am not wrong, but RYNOX offers both magnetic and non-magnetic versions of the tankbag and they are pretty robust quality stuff.

Same old Turtle tankbag magnetic one as default, same old stuff.

                              VIATERRA

Now offers strap mounted system for almost any bikes and real good too.

                              Cheers!
