You are not gonna get anything good for that price. You need to increase your budget. Get a good jacket and knee guards too. Everybody has a fall or a crash, but its best to be prepared. Even I had dropped mine when I got tipped over by a car, but thanks to the gears, there wasn't a scratch on me. SPG, DSG are good for riding gears, but not sure whether they have stores in Delhi.

      Hey Broder,

Please go through the link provided by Mr. Snehith in the post above. It has Delhi store details.

Above all, change the MUKUT and make a long term investment and get a good one.

Well, most biking gloves start up at 1k & above but the decent probiker/scoyoco gloves will come in 3-600 or you may buy some 2nd hand gloves & stuff from fellow xbhp users if you are on budget considering bike repair

also have to wait till December second week for y orange Helios jackets. I had sent an email last week to customer care reading two sites of improvement.the 1.zippers cannot be locked.
2.the elbow Velcro patch has a short length.the actual length is long but we can't adjust the fit much due to the short rough Velcro part.

Hey mate, totally agree with you on the improvement points you mentioned. Also, i had ordered gloves and knee guards from Spartan around 10 days back. Their reply to all my emails was quick and the stuff was delivered the very next evening after i made the payment. So if you are not getting any replies, the best thing is call them on the helpline number and speak to Sathish. I am sure he would help u out.

P.S - Anybody here planning to buy gloves, there is a discount on Phaeton Gloves if ordered online and costs Rs 1500 now. A total vfm product at this price.

Just go to SPG website (http://www.spartanprogear.com/home.aspx ). Most of SPG are gud & VFM, but you are always welcome to search this thread for the user reviews.

Neitherlessly, i would strongly recommend that you decide which riding gears you want to buy & make a list for it. You can then discuss it here before buying since each brand's gear have their own pro & con as well as each rider demands are different. Here's a list of riding gear & brands that may assist you

            helmet - steelbird/vega/ls2/sol
            jacket - spg/dsg
            gloves - spg/rynox/dsg
knee guards - spg perseus/bionic knee guards
            riding boots

It is also essential to choose biking gear according to your riding style & usage

Brother.. as said, it depends on your personal requirement and choice. I bought all my gears lately after a lot of research and now after using them, i feel Spartan products are really vfm and much better in fit and finish when compared.
Also, I had a personal liking for the phaeton gloves after reading about it on the website and had to order them as it wasnt available with the nearby dealer. Thats when i was told of the discount as the old phaeton gloves has been discontinued and a new phaeton glove has been launched. Its actual cost was 2100 and nw its for 1500. So in this particular range, i feel this is the best you can get, other being rynox and dsg. Also, make sure u know what size fits you before you order. If you need any more help, visit the website or contact them or let me knw.

FYI, i am using the Spartan Helios Jacket, Spartan Phateon gloves, Spartan Perseus knee guards and LS2 FF350 helmet.

Really?? I was thinking of going for the Rynox Rampage but I don't think there is any Rynox dealer in Pune and their website is still under maintenance.

Is there any discount if we go and buy it directly from the shop because I want to checkout the gloves myself before buying.

PS - The discount is only if ordered online and is subject to the availability of the gloves. You have to call them to inquire for that. Also, do try out the gloves at a nearby spartan dealer if u can, to know your size.

Rynox rampage is good too, it was my first choice as well. But a spartan product at the same range is first preferred.

                      need help in choosing gloves.
                      options are
                      1.cramster twister
                      2.dsg revive/nitro
                      3.spg phaeton

User Review of the DSG Nitro and Cramster Twister gloves | Biketoq

this is what I read about dsg nitro.maybe down to rough usage but twister held up better.also revive was supported by a t-bhp user n-aditya since he has extensively used it.in person the nitro looks and feels awesome.but functionally according to revive's review those vents it has works well.

my other options are cramster twister which is the cheapest most vfm gloves I think available as of now.looks boring thou.however if it gives same functionality as other gloves at lower price then its a win win.mesh in lateral aspect of thumb.still good reviews overall for this product.

thirdly phaeton. read just now that prices slashed if ordered online until stocks lasts.but what about shipping?.looks awesome.second to nitro that is.its short cuffs too.not full leather.at 1.5k(2.1k otherwise) is it a better deal than twister?? or should I opt for the costlier dsg ones?? nitro or revive in that case?

also now considering rjays gloves.the 2.5k one.does it offer real life better quality/protection over others?? would it last longer for sure than Indian ones??

also I feel the cramster breezer has better quality.again this is a personal thing maybe.I went for the Helios solely because of Knox armour and the orange colour helps too I guess. And someone here at xhbp who is/used to? work for spartan was a huge USP as well.Sunnyside up u still here man?hope my feedback was helpful.
Sunnyside_up is the CEO of Spartan ProGear, and most don't know that. He's a 49 year old young man, just so you know so he gets a little respect that he deserves next time on. Perhaps I think they are having some issues on their side. Did you call them? No, please try calling them, else just send a mail or two, and all we have to do is wait patiently.

Buying gears abroad if you have a friend there, is a very good idea, as it is easy on pocket and saves quite a few on shipping costs. The same would cost a bomb if you ship them individually from US of A or elsewhere. So I'd suggest it's a good idea to purchase gears if someone is abroad, and also the one concern most face is sizing, make sure you sizing is on the right size before ordering/bringing any gear/stuff from abroad, as you know it's a hassle if you have to return for a wrong size etc.

Do your homework, with sizing etc, and then go for it.

                          Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                          The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                          THE END

ha! so I still stand by point that having a staff from spartan on xbhp(in this case the CEO!!) is a USP that made me go for the Helios jacket.
But I can't call him/them up for saying the suggestions rite.

The only problem here is I got size small which is giving rashes on my hand after 1 hour of riding... Check the last pic...
May be i should have got medium size?? Will spartan change it for size mismatch reason? It's used for just 50km or so..
