Velocity is good choice if the knee guards position at right points...Do not expect it to be 100% waterproof. Nevertheless it will certainly protect from cold and falls due to the armour in right places & Offcourse rugged material.

Its made of simple cloth and plastic on upper.

Yes you can wash and then let it dry in Sunlight.
Do not let it be under Bright sun for log time. It might get loose in fitting.

Recommendation for good gloves? Should I go with Cramster or RJays? Or is there any other brand that I can look forward to? My max budget is around 4k.

              Hi guys!

I am from Chandigarh and there is no decent shop for motorcycle gears.

There is one shop in the entire city which sells fake products in the name of original. Also the guy selling them has no knowledge about them.

I am hunting for a decent all weather jacket... budget head of rs. 5500, maybe till 6k.

There are options online but I am skeptical about buying from websites like Cramster or PlanetDSG because I don't see a clear return policy....

What if the jacket's fit isn't right?

SnapDeal had the jacket listed but sold out.

Does anyone have an experience of swapping jacket purchased from Cramster/DSG online??

Is there anyone from Chandigarh who knows a decent shop that I may not have idea of?

What is your suggestion about the jacket? I am looking at Cramster Breezer 4.0 right now but lack of enough shoulder straps worries me because I am a slim guy needing those straps more. .

I use a SCOYCO glove which I bought four years back and it's almost raped every single day, and still going bloody strong. As most of SCOYCO gloves are textile, it can be easily machine washed or just squeezed in luke warm water with detergent. I followed the latter initially, but when my mom dunked it in the machine without my knowledge, it turned out even cleaner. Don't just put the glove alone in the machine it will be ripped very soon. Just throw the gloves in when the machine is loaded, so it is washed softly. Else, you can hand wash with luke warm water with detergent, squeeze, and hang dry.

RJays is good, and I own one. Cramster is affordable and excellent VFM stuff. The decision is yours, if you have the option of checking them on hand, then go which fits you perfectly.

Shoulder straps or waist adjustments straps? There isn't any shoulder adjustment straps on jackets, all you get us cuff, waist and to forearm adjustment. Regarding jackets, yes most do offer replacement but with shipping costs on our side for the wrong size. I happen to do that once from another vendor and the shipping was borne by me. But you can always call them, ask for their replacement policy and check out FAQ section which would give you a detailed insight into the company's replacement policy.

Breezer is a very good jacket and very good VFM jacket, plus it being an all weather jacket, at that price point. Next up you have Cramster Eclipse, again an excellent VFM stuff, and then you have Spartan HELIOS a very good jacket. All these are right in the range of 5 to 6k plus or minus.

If you have trouble finding a dealership, and intend to purchase it online, then make sure you double, triple check your sizes. If you're too thin, round up the figures, cross check with the sizing chart and get size you're offered. 95% of the time, the fit is almost spot on, but just in one off guys it can be a trouble.

                Cheers!

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

I am using Rjays gloves. Bought in from bachoo motors on discount some 8-9 months back. Not used them much but now from last month using them for all my short and long rides and my experience is good. Can't say about cramster but Rjays is a good brand. I am using Rjays swift jacket and its almost a year now. I never faced a problem with it. And yes my gloves fits me really well.

Sorry I used "shoulder" by mistake..it meant forearm.... dumb me.

I have no other option but to go with some online vendor... snapdeal has cramster products and their return polocy is straight up fine... but the jackets are sold out there...

I will check for the options you gave me. Also I will talk directly to the vendors for online delivery and return policies...
                    Thanks for the info!!!!

Thanks, I recently bought the RJays All Seasons II jacket and pants. They're great; tried them on my recent ride (Bangalore-Chennai-Pondicherry-Bangalore). Looking for gloves now; stuck between RJays, Cramster, and now also adding Spartan Ares to the equation.

Triton comes with WaterProof Rain Liner *Stitched* inside.
So just think of using it in Summer !

And this leaves you with no confusion too.

Spartan Helios had detachable liners which would help you choose the climate you're riding in. Triton is a full fledged monsoon type jacket. Not worth going for if you intend to use it in B2B on a day to day basis, for which HELIOS is an excellent companion.
