LS2 being a new entrant into the market, first off, I don't think it has created enough rapport for knock-off manufacturers to indulge in brand play. It's real hard to judge by the looks of it if whether its fake or not, unless I know where it's bought and what sort of relationship the dealer has with the importer/main distributor.

But from the looks of it, I've gotta it should be genuine. But genuine or fake, this is far better than fake A* just my two cents.

    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

That one certainly looks genuine, but the construction and quality as compared to the other jackets in that price range does not justify its cost. That is a open fact, just can be understood by look of it.

Looks can be very much deceiving Krish. I agree to the trained eye it's a different game, but still the build quality of fakes are almost similar or if not even more with certain products that they're sold at a very competitive price. Now textile being textile, doesn't differ much, but construction and reliability can attest only after usage Krish.

The reason I couldn't summate was the fact that I've never even had the opportunity to see the jacket, in some way or the other to summate it being a G or F.

But from what I've experienced, looks can be very VERY deceptive, Krish.

        Cheers!

Indeed... but I have tried the LS2 jacket, i mean tested it , then a friend of mine has bought it and is pretty happy with it, but cost wise and protection wise, there are other better option in that price range.

The balaclava of Zeus is almost at par with the spartan one, but is more expensive, the new 3 way balaclava seems to be a good touch and with respect to the quality of their normal model, it should be good enough, only the pricing needs to be checked.
And I think the Inferno hasn't been made available yet, so hard to comment on that Sandeep.

Have already used Spartan Balaclava and loved its quality and the comfort it gives. Wanted to buy another one so thought of Zeus. So from what ever you said, i feel its better to go with Spartan again.

Regarding Inferno, i heard that they have displayed them at IBW and so thought someone who tried at IBW may put some points.

Well, let's not jump into conclusions, the 3 way does has it's own advantages, that the spartan one cannot give.

And about the gloves, I would wait until someone posts a owners review on that rather than just a trial based review.

Please, please and please utilise the search feature, it is not that hard to use

Also if u just look a little up or else a few pages back, you shall see a small discussion on balaclavas.

Using the search option you shall also find a dedicated thread for gear stores in various cities. Look for the one closest to you and call them up and enquire on the stock availability.

                              The Pursuit

The pursuit of choosing a good quality Motorcycle Glove was started a few month back, to offer subtle protection from cold and on road hazard. Budget was set at Rs. 3500/-. I was pretty sure that I want a leather gauntlet as I love the feel of leather and at the same time offering the best available protection. So after a pretty long search for around a month, rounded up my options as Cramster TRG2, Rynox Kombat(Semi Gauntlet) and DSG PrimalThe Choices

I now headed for trying the above mentioned 3 out in my town. To be honest, none of the shop in my city keeps a ready stock for any of the above mentioned gloves (AHMEDABAD IS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO BUY GEAR). So I was left with nothing but a blind buy by calling up the respective manufacturers. Following the events, I even dropped the idea for about a week. Finally, one fine day I started calling up the manufacturers and in between was introduced to Spartan Gears and Zeus Gears by Google. The responses from the respective manufacturers are as follows:

NOTE: I tried asking every manufacture the same question about how their product offers better comfort and protection, compared to similar products in market? My question may seem lame as this is my first standard motorcycle glove purchase. Also, to get more details about the products, please contact the respective manufacturer and/or view their site.

God & his games are far away from our thinking!!!
Just today in noon I was searching a review of Cramster Eclipse & some leather riding gloves & then a wild thought ran across my mind, what the f*ck do I need a jacket for??
& then just half hour ago I met an accident, the pullover & shirt I was wearing are torn & I've injured my shoulder
Jeans has got a big hole right knee completely scraped, ProBiker gloves did their best to save my palms but now they are finished
& special thanks to my Studds Scorpion, it saved me from that deadly bruises & serious injuries when my head hit those railings
So the priority list has all been shuffled, & now the first thing to do is to buy a good jacket, a pair of leather gloves & some good knee gaurds but have some queries.
1)Does someone has Cramster's & Spartans' jacket sizing chart??
2)does Eclipse has both the liners detachable or only the rain liner?
                                3) as the price difference between Helios & Eclipse is ₹500 which one is better.
(the Helios has got some interesting features like a waterproof inner pocket for mobile phones)
