This is bad sportsmanship from Zeus part. Who exactly is showing immaturity is evident from the mail. If this is how the brand treats its customers, I am staying away from it.

I don't know what is he thinking of himself . He din't even accepted to repair then when i asked them for a repair. He instead told me that its my fault and so the wear and tear happened.


Now the thing is that he clearly told that there is no warranty on his products. If there is no warranty given on his products how can he talk of quality ??

Its the same as local 'china made' things. Its up to luck on how long they will stay put.
He should have atleast agreed to repair the glove. But..........

Now that he has mentioned the same, no point in buying their stuff and recommending the same to others.

That was a shocking reply from the manufacturer. I don't understand what he was thinking. Incidentally, he is very famous for this kind of attitude among the riders in Hyderabad. Most of them stay away from him. With this reply now, he is going to have a serious dent in his reputation.

Damn, he didn't even offer to repair it. Thats atrocious. Its clear now that there is no customer support in case of any defective product. Better stay away from these products.

Whoa, look at this. How come some 'cartoons' like this one end up as customer service executive. Its him who has just spread negativity on his own brand.

Why don't you approach the consumer court? Even if the product isnt covered by warranty....you still received a faulty product which has manufacturing defects which you paid for by your hard earned money, and on top of that the owner threatens you.
You can make a statement if you still have the purchase bill.
You can also complain about safety issues because a product that is supposed to preserve your hands gave away by itself.....that too Leather in just 2.5 months..!!

I am using Zeus All terrain jacket and zeus highway rider gloves for more than two months now.. No such issues faced yet. But it is really shocking the way Zeus guy has replied to a customer. I mean, come on, heard of term called customer satisfaction? Why not offer to repair gloves at the least and get a happy customer.. No one in this world is free enough to spend time and energy to spread negativity about a product unless he is done wrong by.

For any product, there is always chance for quality issues in some pieces. The manufacturer has to attend to it, and not threaten this way. When you are spending your hard-earned money, you expect good durability.

For more clarity on this issue, I requested Sandeep to post the entire communication so that complete picture is known to all.

Very slightly OT, but here's my experience.
When I had a problem with my SPG Ares (stitches gave way on the finger), they replaced it without any hassle, and also offered a refund in case I wasn't happy with the resolution. They stood behind their 6 month warranty. Just goes to show how much of a difference the attitude makes! It was really pleasant dealing with them.

Not that I am a big fan of Adventure on the rocks pricing or attitude towards customers, this particular instance is outrageous. In current world, we post problems on home pages of companies to get immediate attention. Instead Zeus issues direct warning. Even if Zeus is not convinced about quality issue, they can debate or ask for more details.

Last time I visited Adventure On The Rocks, Zeus products were about to go official and samples were present. Ritesh was kind enough to show the samples and try the gloves. The gloves were brand new and looked solid. I couldn't help but notice Zeus gloves borrowed great resemblance with gloves of contemporary players such Cramsters and DSG. That was good thing for me, considering Zeus fused the best features of competition and came up with a better product in that price range. When I complemented Ritesh about the 'inspiration' from competitors, he behaved as if Cramsters and DSG didn't even exist in his world. He gave a notion that 'his' products and 'his' quality are at par with the best in the market. As a rider, we deal with riding gears all the time and it is very difficult to digest such stupid attitude. I was better off with other products since than.

ZEUS Highway Rider Gloves review and Feed back about the seller ( Ritesh Ved )

I have got Zeus highway rider gloves ( black coloured ones ) from On The Rocks store in Hyd on Feb 22nd and from day 1 they started giving me problem and after a week they finally gave up. The mesh provided on the fingers for ventilation came loose and started biting the finger.



On reporting to Ritesh Ved ( owner of Zeus gear & On The Rocks ) he asked me to come down to the store and when i showed him the gloves he accepted that its manufacturing defect and told me he ll exchange them with the grey coloured ones as that was the only glove left out with him. On thoroughly checking the gloves i found that there are strain marks on the palm area of the gloves when i asked him the same regarding the quality he told me, its the last piece and asked me to take a decision whether to take it or not. So i finally took it..

So its been 2.5 months since i have been using them and in past 3days the leather on the gloves near the thumb started tearing up near the stitches



on reporting the same to Ritesh Ved he denied saying its not quality issue and in return he started blaming me that its due to improper usage and that wear & tear will not be covered under warranty ( and he also told me that these products don't have any warranty ) and i asked him for repair and for that he told me to do it on my own and he's no where concerned about it.

And when i started questioning him about the quality of the gloves and how a wear and tear can happen in that area where pressure is not applied much ,he started acting rudely and then i decided to let other riders know how he is dealing with customers and about his attitude.




So finally he started giving me warning as i have posted it on Facebook.





This is the kind of guy is the Zeus owner.. Who threatens for posting reviews about his products !! Instead of accepting the quality issue he starts to blame customers and refuses to respond. He simply told that THERE IS NO WARRANTY ON THESE PRODUCTS ! I guess even Chinese products come with 3 to 6 months of warranty.

Am not saying the fellow riders to back off from the brand but to be aware of such things which may happen .
