re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
I did not say all gears are from China. I was referring to all stuff from different manufacturers (not only riding gear) who source from China.Originally posted by prateek2210 View Post
The product is sold by Vega. I bought it online. Vega is a genuine company.Quality does not guarantee genuineness.
OKThen they are not CE approved.Last edited by P3T3R; 05-20-2015, 11:48 AM.

Full gauntlet gloves around/under 3000rs
To start off with, I have been using the probiker gloves for riding till now and now I want to upgrade to a proper real riding gloves. . . So now zeroed down three of the products based on the review. The list is as follows along with the pics,
1. Cramster TRG-2 - Looks good, many of my friends have it and they are happy with it. . . Recommended by many. . . The top of my list. . .
Price: 2900rs, (price increased day before from 2600
). . .

2. Rynox Inferno - Have good very good reviews from all around, still I am like okay as it's just slightly above my already increased budget but still oooookaayy can stretch only if it's the best among all. . .
Price: 3300rs. . .

3. Solace Bravo. This is kinda new brand which I happened to come across a day or two ago and the reviews I found are very good, all are happy with it and there's no complaints regarding it's protection or quality or whatsoever. . . Also the cheapest in my list. . .
Price: 2450. . .

So need some expert/user input on these three gloves and any other gloves in this price bracket. . .
PS: I am looking for a full gauntlet gloves and nothing short. . .
Thanks in advance. . .
Cheers!!!

re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
Looks like the Chinese makers are getting into the Indian Gear market at a brisk pace. Guess not very far away that we see those rip off Dainese on the streets around us. I am not saying Chinese is bad but un certified chinese is, just like uncertified Indian or any other country, just that China has a thriving industry of fakes all around the world.
Again, plead everyone to get gear that are CE Level 1 rated, at the very least, since all this money invested is for the safety. Save up if you are off the budget at the moment rather than invest in something that will not do its job when it is required to. Postpone the gear and bike by a few months if you have to.
Nevertheless, to every man his own.

A good VFM proposition from a decently reputed brand. Check with the facebook page of PRS if you have questions.

If you can get those, nothing like it. Proper track level protection at a very good price. I know people who are very happy with them, doing touring and track days.Originally posted by Rahul.g View PostThanks

Though, decide if you want the perforated version or the solid version as per your need.

Do look at these as well. They are going out quite cheap as they are clearing their stocks. Again, priced similar to the SMX6 and track protection.

Does Saddle bag come in this thread?
I was just looking through one, the Viaterra Velox...
Was curious to know if anybody has tried carrying a laptop in those?
Is it safe?
My highway rides usually consist just 100-150km at a time... And my laptop has an SSD, so that part is safe....
Just wondering...
Ride safe!

Bro you have just confused me now whether to buy spartan perseus or scoyco .Originally posted by shane#1 View PostLast Saturday I bought a knee guard from scoyco. Initial ride in traffic was very good doesn't stop the blood flow. To be worn inside denim hence very comfortable.
Bought this from Chopra in Karol for 1600.
Very good thing for regular rides. Photos are as below.
