I had a bad experience with crapster when my twister gloves developed a hole out of nowhere. When i called the store i bought it from they saod crapster doesn't have any warranty. So i emailed crapster and got no reply whatsoever. I got them fixed by a roadside shoe repair guy. But never going to buy anything from crapster again. They didn't even bother replying.

True, Cramster has to improve both these aspects otherwise customers have got many options nowadays which are better.

My two cents.
I have cramster trg2 for almost 6years now. Yes they are torn, but thats due to excessive usage (torn in last 1year)
The warranty is always on most of the products is manufacturing defect, apart from that no one gives you any extra warranty.

The person who wrote the mail can be a customer service agent, he will do what he has been trained to write.
What the dealee says is not the cramster's headache. They cant control what the dealer says or what he promised to the customer. And same goes with any company, e.g if TVS svc is negligible , will I blame TVS as the company for that? Cramster also mentiones that those are independent resellers, is it mentioned that they are authorised dealers of the products?
Secondly, I couldn't find where it says that they give warranty only on bags.

I am not a fan or taking sides of any particular brand but coming from cust service background , I can very well say that the email has nothing wrong in it.

Rest if people dont want to buy or ask others from not buying their stuff, its totally personal choice.

Bro I would recommend the Puma Goretex boots. Since water-proofing is an important criteria for you Goretex would be the right choice as I guess there is nothing more water-proof than Goretex that I know. I have pasted the link below.

Riding Boots, PUMA - ROADSTER V3 GORETEX

I guess these are the only GoreTex boots sold in this range. However after going through the previous posts about cramster's after sale service I would recommend you to check with Cramster about its warranty before purchasing it.

Motorcycle Riding Boots in India | High Note Performance Some good boots found here as well. TCX is also a very very good brand. As a brand I find TCX to be better than PUMA in this category however I was not able to find the GoreTex version of TCX boot on this links (However internationally we do have GoreTex Version of TCX boots). But they do have water-proof versions but just check with them about the water-proofing technology that they have used for their boots.

As a product I found it to be the most worth product currently available.

For Pants- Rynox Advento is the best one as it comes with Knox hips and Knox Leg (Knee+ Shin) armour adjustable as per your height and riding position and comes with a water-proof external pant. Have not used the pant but have been using a Rynox Jacket and much satisfied with it.

If you're talking about breaking in as per your body and posture, yes it does

Thanks for the reply. I bought the same jacket as prateek2210 but in black color. Here's the exact link.
Had send him the measurements and he sent the jacket as per the same but now am finding it a bit tight for my liking. Getting the jacket on and off is a slightly cumbersome too. He asked me to send it back to him for alterations in case it still gives that tight feeling after breaking it in.

I'm able to move my limbs alright and there are no serious limitations on any range of motions as such. But I just feel all wrapped up .
May be it's because it's the first time I'm wearing a riding jacket!

Thats how riding jackets are. If still you feel uncomfortable, he is kind enough to do the adjustments, he has even offered to repair my friend's scoyoco.

I too ordered Black, but he sent the other one by mistake, but I loved the brown black color more now

Of course, I was very grateful when he offered to alter and that too, after I had used it a for a ride. Really nice chap.

I guess you're right. The jacket ought to fit better once I break it in and after shedding a kilo or two off the waist. Just to give you an idea, at max I can wear a T-shirt or shirt underneath this jacket. Anything thicker (like a sweater or even thermal liner) and I would find it tough to breathe freely. But one thing I did not like was the entry-point of the elbow guards. The velcro for the same comes off every time I take off the jacket. Would have been better had it been on the upper side (below the shoulder pad area). I also share your view that the mesh cover for the elbow guard doesn't look like it will last a long time. But not complaining about anything else (except the fit that is) for the price paid.

A couple of poorly lighted shots of the jacket this morning.

Yes the elbow guards is pain to insert back. I mentioned the same in my review too.I was in habit of inserting them from the upper portion of the sleeve in my scoyoco. But I guess with time I will learn how to use them.
If more issues, get the velcro stitched again from local tailor
